I understand, and my sarcasm was not really directed at you. It is directed at the government, media and other assorted pharmaceutical company drones that make a big deal about crap like this.

They are just trying desperately to prop up the ridiculous State of Fear that they have created in this country. It doesn't help anything to play on ignorance and hypocrisy to maintain control.

People in this country have legislated away their freedom, and it is sad to me.
So you fall into legalize and tax category? Which makes most sense. Bible thumpers will never allow that....apparently they have a lot of pull.

Yeah, that has truly been murderer's row the past decade. Clemson's closest game last year was to mid-division A&M ffs
That's the odd part, his only winning conference season came in the middle of the murder's row run. As the mild decline of SEC west dominance and coaching changes set in, his record returned to 50% or less.

As far as Larry Scott as a position coach, he's fine. But we traded way up.

At linebacker, Daniel Bituli and Will Ignont continue to lead the unit. Shanon Reid continues to look good, too

What a huge unexpected boost it would be if Ignont and Reid were solid contributors at linebacker. Hope they continue to trend upwards.

I always liked Ignont and figured he'd eventually do something. Reid I assumed was one of the transfer guys.

Tracy Rocker was very pleased with the work Tuesday. Aubrey Solomon, Latrell Bumphus and Maurice Smith all got shoutouts for their reps.
- VQ

Edit: Same with Bumphus. And Maurice Smith is a walk on IIRC, but he's a big kid so maybe he can be the next Paul Bain.

Of course, VQ also sucks on their spring practice evals (raved about Latrell Williams last spring for example) so maybe all these guys really suck and don't do crap.

I'm a Bible thumper, and I do not believe in legislating morality...in fact I detest it. It serves God no purpose, and only makes my job harder as it has created a deep resentment. "Religious" has become a dirty word to the majority of people IMO.

I also know that I am in a minority amongst my brethren, and my views cause me to get a lot of grief amongst some of my peers, but it is something I feel very strongly about...Freedom to make personal choices.

Free Will and all. The Bible talks about being too Religious. I am more Spiritual than Religious.

But don't misunderstand me..I hate drugs..all of them including alchohol.

I just deeply believe in the freedom to live how you want. That same freedom is what gives me the right to believe what I want, and live how I want.

So basically they get sick just like people that drink way too much alcohol get sick?

Moderation. What a concept.

My uneducated opinion is that weed has gone immoderate in more than one way. I think they have bred for high THC and low CBD for so long they’ve turned it into Frankenweed. And I think the climate of legalization has made it easier for those who would abuse it to do so. So the end result is stupid young men making themselves sick. Go figure.

My still uneducated opinion is that moderate use of more balanced THC/CBD weed doesn’t make anyone sick, and still has the known medicinal benefits. A reasonable analogy would be moderate use of wine vs heavy use of liquor.

Don’t know about recruiting, but he’s intense. Got suspended for their first tournament game this year because he used some poor words and language to some NCAA personnel and officials during last year’s Final Four.
So he's a male Pat Summit that's a little rough around the edges?

Hmmm. He is a bible thumper. I'm a bible thumper and I'm for decriminalization. I'm also one to think the government shouldn't have any part in it. No taxation, unless it's a commercial product grown commercially sold commercially in stores. Should be treated like a vegetable. And I'll add that I don't use the stuff, personally.

cmon at miss st? With Alabama in your division? An absurd bar to set. I don't know if Belichick or Saban could pull that off. Would highly bet against it.

Context.

Les Miles (Twice)
Gene Chizik
Gus Malzahn (Twice)

All managed to do it...5 times in Saban's 12 years at Bama he didn't make the championship game. I mean it's not impossible....

Vast majority are 18-25 year olds that are healthy not taking any other meds. I work in a not for profit hospital and I’m salary. I don’t benefit in any way from diagnosis. In fact they are usually very dramatic and a pain in my ass.

I see way more people that abuse prescription medication in the hospital. I see way more that have serious side effects from prescription medications. Just like these folks I believe you can have too much of a good thing and/or some people are prone to side effects.
I was just curious. Did this happen all of a sudden when states started legalizing. There was still 10's of millions using since the 1970's just wondering if they was coming in with this for decades. I just now heard about it. And are they coming in trying to get some kind of prescription medication like painkillers from that CHS.

Jmo but I think we should give Pruitt 5 years. He's new at all this, while Mullen is seasoned. Won't be surprised if Mullen whips him the first 2-3 years, but I'd bet on Pruitt long run.
I agree he should get at least five. I think that we will have ample evidence by the 2020 season who is doing better and I think it will be our coach.

Honestly, after looking up his record at MS, I was a little surprised that he only had 1 winning season in conference.
I truly get that it's Mississippi State but his 1 superb season was somewhat of an outlier for SEC play.
Better than what we had most of the time but still surprised me.

Yeah take away bowl games and his seasons weren't exactly amazing, granted it was at Miss. State in the West, but he had 4 seasons of 500 or less and the only season he finished the SEC above 500 was the 10-2 year. That season his SEC East opponents were Vanderbilt (who went winless in conference) and Kentucky (who only won 2 games in the SEC that season)
