Disagree. We’ve gotten decent play from Bituli at times. Ignont was getting his first real action last year. I don’t expect them to be world beaters, but experience in the system should help them. Expecting the DL to be much better is... interesting lol but so was seeing KC throw in shorts a few times in spring 2018 and expecting him to make any kind of noise for us.

Agreed, he was tied for 13th in the SEC in Tackles last season. We also return our leader in sacks, pass deflections and INTs...I'm more optimistic going into 2019 than I was last season for sure. We saw a team that could have easily been a 6 to 8 win team (with a bowl game) if we'd had more luck with injuries (losing Trey was a huge loss) and had CJP inherited a better conditioned team than what he did may not have ran out of gas.

Having that TV money from the SEC Network helps a lot as well. The Men's program will drive more profit than the Women's program, but if they Lady Vols reach Elite Eight/Title contender levels again it won't do anything but help the university.

A lot of previous buyouts should be rolling off the books fairly soon too. Pretty sure Dooley & Co. are off the books. So just the Botch guys and Currie left I believe?
Currie accepted $2.8 mil. Off the books.

Never posted a link from my phone before, hope it worked. Ok, it worked. The comments afterward are pretty funny.

Memphis247 Twitter page is a mess, what was the question they asked anyway?

I agree though, Penny isn't one of the greatest all-time, not in the pros anyway. Sadly his injuries ruined his NBA career.

This is why you try to be flexible with your roster these days. Would take Kira Lewis or John Petty. Will be interesting if we continue to pursue recruits or transfers.
