No. The NCAAT can be a crap shoot. But if you go on a consistent basis, then you will have more chances for success. Simple concept.

Im almost ready to done with it and go best of 3 series for the top 8. The rest can play a luckbox crapshoot for the fun of it. March madness is truly THE worst to find a champion. The only reason it keeps going is because it is a national treasure at this point.

When you’re fishing in these waters it takes a lil longer to reel em in.

Good view to have. MM is so luck (variance) based, its a lottery. Keep buyin those tickets. Beyond that theres no golden ticket. just ask Coach k, roy, etc. only 1 in 355 teams win each year...may the odds be ever in your favor.
Good points! Don’t leave out Dean Smith! Needed two near acts of god to net two total championships over 30 seasons.

What do you mean by Thompson had no idea what he was doing lol
As a college DB? He didn’t arrive until late summer. Complete product iyo?
Our best DB last season...

I am going to assume Butchna is saying that people thought he was going to be worthless last year and he ended up being one of our best DBs and didn’t even go through Spring Practice. Just my thoughts on the whole back and forth....

It's not all or nothing.
For purpose of this conversation it is. If he didn’t have the position down pat...he “didn’t know what he was doing”. I think what he accomplished as a true freshman was borne more of his natural instinct. A full season played and his off-season will factor in his comparison to Taylor in year two.

We didn’t know WHERE he would end up this time last year. Position or school. 😉

But would have been posting this opinion had 1) we gotten past Purdue and 2) Auburn got knocked out? The salt lies within the situation, not what you're saying.
Who cares? I sure as hell am salty. Auburn doesn’t deserve the level of luck they always seem to have. I loved Bruce too, but the fact is, he’s the reason UT Basketball wondered the wilderness for five or so years. UT should have supported him better on the front end, and it probably would have mitigated the whole situation, but what Pearl built here, he completely destroyed just as quickly.
