Anyone that leaves won't sting. No starters or backups are going to leave. Only backups to the backups backup. When you sign 20-25 every class you need to process a handful each year in order to make room for the next incoming class.
I think it was Morris-- Currie was distracted and then told him he thought he was going to be fired.Isn't true. I actually have first hand knowledge from the man himself lol. Ran into Morris a couple of months ago in Destin. Talked to him and a friend of his for a few minutes. Asked him if he interviewed for the Tennessee job and he said yes. He sat down with both Currie and Fulmer about the job. Said the Currie interview was "interesting" and that he talked for a long time with Phil, who he was complimentary of. The vibe I got was he wanted the Tennessee job, but Fulmer went a difference direction.
I mean it's not like every game that's not checkered neyland isn't an orange out or anythingOk that is my assessment as well. He says he's not against Checker Neyland but his Titter timeline says different. And now he's trying to claim "Orange Out" is his idea. He's slowing creeping toward my block list.
Coming in when it's 52 to 3 Will do that.. Chryst s the back-up, it really amazes me how some of you will not give JG his due..JG has been good and the oline hasn’t helped much. He just seems timid to me. Of course he did get hit 1000 times last year. Chryst looked more confident in what little time he played.
There is definitely something to be said about their mindset when they come into the game. It may be closer than some of us think making JG hesitant to take some deep shots in fear of getting a INT or two and causing him to get pulled. KC on the other hand knows he's got to prove something so he probably plays a little looser and is will to take a few deep tries.Coming in when it's 52 to 3 Will do that.. I honestly don't know who Simonton is referring to or what he's said about that player. And I don't want to mess it up, because this guy keeps it low-profile. He has quietly visited UT a number of times. Under the radar, no drama. IDK where we are with him, other than he's always liked UT and wasn't coming here with Butch. But Butch is gone and he has a good relationship with Pruitt. Maybe he's Simonton's mystery guy and maybe not-- but we could use him.
Yeah, I thought it would be more unique (to UT) to try to do a white-out, although many other teams (including Penn St. football) do that pretty routinely, so it wouldn't be unique to the sports world. That was my thinking. I'd say its 70% orange on a normal game haha.
Seems like they really want a couple of the guys in the Memphis area and that’s about the extent of it.I don't get the sense that UT is pushing as hard to flip some of these in-state players as people think. Pruitt's prototype hasn't changed and they'll be more selective now with the early signing period just a few months away.
