I think you missed my whole point. If we want to actually win titles. You have to be willing to pay money. If you want to have a winning season, go to a bowl game, by all means hire a Mack Brown or Les Miles.

Buddy I don't care what we offer. No winning coach is coming here. Winning seasons and bowl games are things we haven't had except sparingly in years. 8-4 would be a massive upgrade over where we are right now. I'd take it all day long.

Fulmer is pissed I promise you that, it’s been confirmed. He is LIVID, not sure how much bleeding he will allow but he is not happy.

There is a reason we cannot have nice things anymore. Give the man a chance to at least get his own players in place.

I know that 1st game was an embarrassing performance by the coaches and players... but the best we were hoping for this season was to win 6 or 7 games so we could maybe get a good recruiting class to come in for 2020. Now after one game .. IMO the fan reaction to the loss will do almost as much damage to a future recruiting class as the actual embarrassing loss. If Vol Fans show they still support the coaches and players, that will do more in the eyes of future recruits than anything else.

Oh.. and don't believe every locker room rumor you read on the internet or hear on the radio .. Fake news to drive Vol fans crazy and give the blogger/media much more attention. They know how rabid Vol fans are.

So Hubbs and VQ are fake news? So Murphy didn't tweet? So we didn't just watch an apathetic mess of disorganized football this past Saturday in which they lost to a low ranked SunBelt team?

And you want to blame the fans? You may want to rethink your analysis. You obviously don't know what happens when a HC loses his team. The players tell the recruits - the players. Their words and actions tell the recruits what they need to know. Losing begets losing.

You bring up a good question...can you have leadership without 🔥🤔...I'm going to say you have to have some type of 🔥...some are raging like a Tebow and some are like smoldering embers like Peyton.

But I will definitely ruminate on this

I hope that's not the attitude the administration has. Sadly, I think it is. That's why we are where we are.
