While I somewhat agree....many of these players undoubtedly don't have their needles moved by Knute Rockne speeches. They have 2 Heisman quality players around the team in Peyton and Tee Martin. Some or maybe many have things like meeting at the Y, spouting off on social media....anyway, maybe you get the jest.We need some Al Wilson and Jason Witten type guys making a "special" surprise appearance this week in Knoxville and having "a little sit-down and coming to Jesus party" with the team...
Apparently Inky's speech fell on deaf ears.
I’m telling you guys. That BYU team isn’t going to be ready to play across the country on prime time after losing to their biggest rival and our guys getting embarrassed at home like we did.
UT gonna open a can on em.
Who would we get? Seriously, who? Who would come here with where we are as a program right now? Even if we offered a Jimbo type deal, which we wouldn't, I highly doubt anyone would take it. At least Miles or Richt can restore respectability to this program and be a stepping stone to the next guy. That's what we need. It's a lot of work.I hope that's not the attitude the administration has. Sadly, I think it is. That's why we are where we are.
Folks need to step away from the edge. Pruitt is going to have to work out. We just have to get his guys in the system and get experience.Who would we get? Seriously, who? This is why I hope Pruitt works out. I've taken my optimistic glasses off. We are 4-5 years away from even thinking about competing for championships. We need Pruitt to be here for the long haul. I hope he is. Saturday might tell us a lot.
If Pruitt doesn't work it absolutely has to be an experienced coach. Look at Mack Brown at NC and Les Miles at Kansas. Surely we could steal Miles away! I don't know. I hope we don't have to fire Pruitt. I really wanted him to be the guy.

It's absolutely in our best interest for Pruitt to turn this around.Who would we get? Seriously, who? Who would come here with where we are as a program right now? Problem is, if we go 3-9, 4-8 or something like that. he isn't going to be able to get his guys. And it doesn't seem as though he has been successful in fixing the culture that was in place at TNFolks need to step away from the edge. Pruitt is going to have to work out.
