I listened to every bit of it. I highly recommend it to everyone. I like you LA but I'm not on your side on this. I wished the whole team including the staff would be required to listen to this. I want them to choke on it. If you want to do something about it do something about it. If it pisses you off - great. I want somebody over there to get pissed. I am flabbergasted that our solution appears to be to coddle a man we are paying 4 fricking million dollars a year to. He's not frickin' 5 years old even if he does act like it. jmo.
hard to argue with what they're talking about if i'm being honest. don't like it. but you can't lose a game like that, the way we lost it, and these things not be noticed/talked about/criticized.

Man, just doesn’t sound good. How does this happen with this coaching staff? We had -2 yards rushing in the 2nd half. JG still, after 4 years, can’t see the field. He sees one half of the field at best. I’m just still in awe of this team.

Even worse than this, we have a transfer from Maryland and Shrout and Maurer that our braintrust think are all worse than JG. If that’s true, why were they brought to Knoxville?

LSU has Troy State, Bama has ULM, we've got Georgia St. I'm pretty convinced at this point that Saturday was the one-in-a-thousand simulation where GaST wins. You play that game another 999 times and UT wins every one of them. I say that not to gloss over what happened, but to illustrate that flukes just ****ing happen sometimes. I don't think this past weekend's game is an indictment on the program at large. I don't think that's what the team will look like every Saturday. I was pissed and numb to it like everyone else, but in the days since, it feels more and more like a cosmic alignment of bad luck. It'll get ironed out.

If there was a silver lining, its that Pruitt's freshmen mostly played well. Burrell was pretty much the only one that consistently looked like a freshmen, but he learned he was starting the week of. I think with more practice with the 1's he'll improve. This may have hurt our spot with a few of the wait-and-see guys, but it seems like for everyone else, its a big flashing neon sign saying "COME TAKE THIS SPOT IMMEDIATELY."

I'm rambling, but i'm not ready to jump ship or tell Pruitt to pack it up. He's proven to be a brilliant football mind. He's learning to be a HC. If I'm picking between which I'd rather him learn on the job, its the latter. I'm sure as hell not ready to start over again.

Littrell could be for real. Turned down the Kansas State job so he has higher end goals. In my burg, and it’s a great atmosphere in Denton. Somebody Google the Mason Fine story if you dig college football...beats Rudy to ****. Babers is legit. Keep seeing Doug Marrone’s name floated and Babers outcoached him with the players he left behind. No one else came closer than Syracuse at beating Clemson last year. Harsin is another meh from the Boise State coaching assembly line of which Peterson was the only true star.
Babers didn’t follow Marrone at Syracuse.

“Brilliant football mind” is more legend than fact.

Nailed it.

Idk man. I want to agree with you, but that game Saturday was no fluke. They whipped us, especially at the LOS. We had no answers. Coaching was horrendous also. I just don't know if I can say we beat them in a rematch. They just straight up whipped us.

Since staff indicated they wanted to play multiple linemen on both side, I just don’t understand why they chose not to have two units. Have two units and let them practice and play together, then evaluate.
Shuffling individual players in and out does not build continuity.
But musical chairs is fun for the whole family... especially with knives

they did, 100%. definitely not denying that. i just don't think it happens again. that would mean, against all rational observations, that the team, as a whole, has regressed. and not just a little bit, but has regressed to be a worse football team than a DIVII SunBelt team. I just don't that's the case.

It's never good enough for us to just lose in embarrassing fashion. We also need iconic images (turnover trashcan, Dooley in a wheelchair) and soundbites (Champions of Life, Where's Rommel) to accompany it. If we lose to BYU I fully expect Pruitt to say something absurdly stupid that ends up getting blasted 24/7 on Twitter and ESPN.

We'll find out Saturday. I'm just depressed man. I can't believe what we witnessed Saturday

He's already compared their QB to Manziel.

If we fire Pruitt, Les Miles or Mark Richt is the answer. We don’t need an up and comer. We need a proven commodity who can restore this program. Give me the proven Vet over an unproven guy any day. It’s where we are right now. If we have to move on from pruitt. Hopefully we don’t

We just need a guy that goes to a bowl every year at this point

We did average more per play, and got beat by turnovers and 3rd downs.

Still a crap ton of negative, but it is technically “possible” that we rebound. I’ll hold out hope.
