I still can't believe you're repeating this. You didn't have to say it in the posts I directly responded to. What you're doing is moving the goalposts.I have asked you repeatedly to show me where I asked for his firing in my original two quotes that you commented on and said that I said to fire him. You pulled old quotes from game threads where everyone wants him fired.
Woodford is always a solid choice for a daily drink. I also like Heaven's Door with their rye being more of a favorite with me. You should have no problems getting both for under $50.You people who spend a fortune on bourbon, shoot me straight…
I’m a poor boy who rarely drinks and works through a bottle of Gentleman Jack in probably a year and a half. How much better is the higher shelf stuff?
Why not call it for what it was? Rohan Davey's momma put a voodoo curse on us after we hurt her little boy. It is known. We must undo the LSU voodoo.
In 2001, we met LSU in the SEC Championship, with a trip to the National Title on the line. We all know what happened. That night, some sort of evil was cast upon this program. A poison that was laced into the fabric of our program's DNA. That night, a different program left with our identity, and we have been fighting for it ever since.
In the 21 years leading up to the 2001 SEC Championship:
Tennessee:
.763 Winning %
LSU:
.569 Winning %
Since the 2001 SEC Championship:
Tennessee:
.564 Winning %
LSU:
.753 Winning %
And we have lost in how many tremendous ways? Been drug through the mud.
We were the team with the terrorizing defense, could beat anyone on any given Saturday, the team you could count on to be a threat year in and year out. The stadium that you did not want to play in at night. The crazy fans. After that night in 2001, it's like LSU stole our soul and walked out with our helmets painted yellow with their logo on it.
LSU has been everything that Tennessee was since 2001. For this, I seek to steal our souls back and banish them to that from which they came.
Not a WT fan, but your point about differing tastes is spot on. I like variety and find much more in the scotch whiskys. Never did think much of the Macallan line. When I want to shake things up, I reach for the Islays in the cabinet. Laphroaig and Ardbeg are fantastic with Uigeadail being one of my alltime favorites. I'll always have a bottle in my cabinet. It depends on what you’re looking for and how much you are a creature of habit. Wild Turkey 101 is cheap and a wonderful example of classic bourbon tastes. Now, if you are looking for that type of flavor profile, and you are a person who can repeat the same things over and over, then there’s never any reason for you to spend more.
If you want to find new subtleties, then you have to branch out. Take the Chattanooga whiskey I mentioned earlier. I don’t get the classic cherry in it that is in WT 101. To me, there’s more of a strawberry note to it. I like that oddity and so I keep some of it on hand for when I want that flavor.
