I believe since we are 6 games into the season and the beating they all take in the SEC that he will come out in the second qt. according to the score of course. It will be nice to give a lot of our players some time off before the UK game. Also, would love to see Milton get a lot of work.

He hung around for spring practice right or did he just attend class that spring? I thought that was kind of weird knowing that he was leaving. What else happened?

Half way through year 2 of the Huepel Era and we are already in the top 5 in the AP poll, we have beaten 4 top 25 teams (Florida, LSU(Destroyed them in their own house), and broke a 16 game drought to Alabama in dramatic fashion, and we are just scratching the surface! I think we can say that we have officially left the wilderness and crossed the Jordan. Now it is time to conqueror the promised land!

Last night I sat with my son and got to see him see the real Neyland and Vols like he had just heard me speak about. As the ball goes thru the uprights, he didn’t turn to his girlfriend but to his dad and we grabbed each other’s arms and jumped up and down screaming, We beat Bama. It’s why I’ve been going with him these last several years for this moment. With a VFL on one side and him on the other, giving 5’s and screaming all night and then winning. A night we will remember till the day he has to help to lay me to my final rest.

What a night. I’m crying again as I post this. I am so thankful for this memory. Thank you Coach Heupel for not being the coach we wanted but being exactly what we needed.

Alright guys, about to go shave the beard. One part of me is mortified to do this (been 10 years) but I’m still shaking in excitement so it’s all worth it!
