Love it. We'll see if he plays. I'm honestly not sure if Mincey is still hurt or if they liked how he played against LSU so much he got the start.

I know the O-line performance was one of the best I've ever seen.
Mincey got rolled up on the Small touchdown. He played sparingly after that.

I don't think the defense matters as much - total defense that is.

This is a Red Zone defensive team. From the 20-20 we play not to get burned. Then tighten up.

I really loved how we blitzed all night long against Bama. I loved the creative blitzes used.

No our offense on the other hand is just UNREAL.
Well their delusional fans on a Cats message board thinks their defense can hold our offense to 28 points..Lol..Good luck with that!😂

I seriously couldn't care less about the polls. Nobody has the resume we have and I don't need a bunch of Sid's that have natural bias and don't watch all the games nor a bunch of reporters to validate it.

They ALL know.🍊
I'm probably in a very small minority, but I don't want us to be #1, until the end.

I know one OL that can’t handle our blitzes or DL in general and that’s UK. That’s a really garbage OL this yr.

I still think we put up 40.

No one has played an offense like ours.

The matchups are tough.

I will say this, if the O line plays well and Hooker and the WRs have time then we roll on offense.

If not, then we struggle and will become one dimensional - if they can get real pressure with just rushing 4 that is tough on this offense.

Our scheme will still put our best WR on a safety or a match up we want, but it won't be consistent if we can't handle the pressure.
Uga is 2nd to last in sacks in the sec I believe.

Next year is going to be...tough.
Going to be young, but I really think Milton will be a great leader and player. OL has depth. Young talenf behind Keyton and Bru (and Hyatt if he stays). All four current runningbacks.

Lots of unproven young talent in the secondary. Biggest concern will be replacing J Banks and LB depth (Page and maybe Harrison). Not worried about the DL - next man up with insane talent available.

I really hope so...for us old fans that have witnessed us in our rightful place in the upper echelon, and have suffered through the humiliation of the last 15-18 years...and for our young fans who have stayed faithful and hopeful all these long years despite only knowing Tennessee as a joke...keeping that faith only because of the stories of past greatness us old folks have been telling them all these long dark years.

Now you know the magic, now you know the real power of being a Tennessee Volunteer.
I was born 5 days after we beat FSU to win the national title. I vaguely remember a few things from 2004-2007 years. So I literally grew up seeing the vols lose in the most horrific ways and seeing us be terrible… growing in the panhandle in Florida, Not ideal wear orange when everyone around you is a bama or UF fan.

Not sure how or why I stayed a UT fan all those years but I’m glad I did. Never experienced a feeling like I did the past 28 hours

Went out after the game last night wearing a Vols baseball jersey and got a few go vols

What stat stood out to me was our rushing defense.
We’re 10th in the nation with opponents averaging 2.93 yards a rush. We gave up 8 tds on the ground through 6 games with teams averaging 93.3 yards.
our Rushing defense is fantastic. So we know teams are trying to throw.

It's clear our secondary is slaw.

But the beauty is that even with that slaw secondary our front 7 can get pressure and get us off the field and with the rushing D we make some teams one dimensional.

1.Tennessee 11-1 (Loss To Georgia)

2.Alabama 12-1 (Sec Champion)

3.Georgia 12-1 (Sec Runner-Up)

4. Ole Miss 11-1 ( Loss to Alabama)

I know Tennessee would likely be third(#1 to me) but is it possible for the college football playoffs to be made fully of SEC Teams?

Impossible. Even if the 4 top teams are in the SEC, there is an expectation that the playoff be national and not a glorified conference tourney.

No..and no way they let three in either unless Clempson somehow 💩s the bed with their usual 💩ty schedule.

If we want in, we have to at least win the rest of our games except for UGA, and then for UGA to beat Bama in the SEC championship game giving them two losses (assuming they win out and get there to start with).

Either that or win em all...and we can not afford a slip up against UK, SC or Mizzou.

I know we should beat UK, but even though I think they were overhyped coming into the season...I still think they are a good team with Levis.
