I mean...can anyone argue that

6 receptions 207 yards and 5 TDs in primetime against a top 3 team that had beaten you 16 straight times going into the game is the best Heisman moment of the season for any one.

I'd argue Hooker's best Heisman moment came earlier against Florida. 78.6% 349 passing yards, 2 TDs 0 INTs, 112 rushing yds, 8.6 ypc, 1 TD

The playoff committee is going to do what they want. They have a variety of metrics and can pick, choose and weigh them however they want in their closed sessions. UT's resume is already in front of them, and our best wins are impressive. All we can do is finish strong, look dominant and make it very difficult for the committee to rationalize leaving UT out. In the end, they're going to have six teams and rank them to get the Top 4 matchups they want.

Glad you support a quitter...he has team mates. Are you suggesting that his decision to not go into the game didn't affect the outcome of the game?

We all get put into tough spots sometimes, and your personality is revealed in how you handle it. I have no problem with transferring, but I do when you make that decision in the middle of a game. Hate to say it because I didn't like it at the time...but Tee Martin was partially correct in his statement caught on tape.

You have 0 idea what happened during that game.

Why would Hurd continue to risk his body for a coach that didn't value him? That's not quitting. The season was over after Bama bent us over.

Y'all want to shade Hurd for quitting yet that same squad was embarrassed by Vanderbilt - so why doesn't the whole team get labeled as quitters? You think they gave their all in that game?

I hear and read daily how Kamara was the vastly superior back to Hurd, so letting Kamara have the bulk of carries shouldn't have been an issue.

Tennessee has stopped the running QB every game this year except for mizzou.
The coaches picked their poison. Limited mizzou running and passing ability and gave up the irrelevant qb runs. Yes they scored 24 points…oh my gosh 😳
Unfortunately for mizzou, Tennessee scored 66. So the qb runs hurt us how?

These coaches have a plan:

13-1 🤠

It was just a observation. I will say if that if it happens with a better team, the outcome might not be the same.

How was the season over? We win out after Bama and we win the East and go to the Sugar Bowl.

We had a Sugar Bowl birth on the line...lol. When Hurd didn't go back in, the fumble was caused by CFA. That's not quitting? Haha.

Dobbs was 31/34 for 340 yards, 2 TD's, and 53 rushing yards against Vandy. Use better facts to support your arguments.

A sugar bowl on the line and they lost to a under .500 SC squad. That's all you need to know about how much effort they were giving.

lol subbing in CFA was Butch's malpractice when Kamara/ Kelly were options, or..idk. Run the ball with the best running QB in school history? CFA fumbling the ball had nothing to do with Hurd.

We gave up 45 pts to a Derek Mason led football team. That's all the facts I need.

Kamara was hurt and didn't play- even worse what Hurd did. You just don't have the facts. But keep on keeping on.

Hurd quit multiple times. Walked out, went home. Coaches went to Nashville to talk him back. Having to negotiate with a player to return is seldom a good situation. Demands are made; so are promises. It causes issues with teammates, hurts team chemistry, the initial problems don't go away and new ones arise. It was very unfortunate for all parties and not handled well on either side. It wouldn't happen today. UT wouldn't put up with it, and the disgruntled player would promptly portal out.

I would like to see ANY Big 10 team play an SEC schedule. I have a neighbor that came here from California and we were talking football and I told him the SEC is just different than everybody else. He gave me the "Sure they are" response. Then after about 6 games he said "Man I never knew they were all that good". Just a fact, bigger and faster.

I can’t wait for the Texas/OU wake up call. I really hope they get some rude schedules the first few years.
