There is one group that cannot be ignored. The soon to be 11-1 team > the 8-4 team.
Every position group. Every player.
He ended up lead blocking quite a lot for Dobbs while here.
Never FEAR, he will still have his defenders on here.Hurd quit multiple times. Walked out, went home. Coaches went to Nashville to talk him back. Having to negotiate with a player to return is seldom a good situation. Demands are made; so are promises. It causes issues with teammates, hurts team chemistry, the initial problems don't go away and new ones arise. It was very unfortunate for all parties and not handled well on either side. It wouldn't happen today. UT wouldn't put up with it, and the disgruntled player would promptly portal out.
Rewatch the Taxslayer bowl, you will have your answer.Honestly I'm not sure why Hurd returned for 2016 season. I think both parties should have just left it after the 2015 season. I was at the opening game that year for App State and it was obvious Hurd didn't want to be there.
I think Butch was a manipulator and a terrible coach, but Hurd made the grown decision to come back for 2016 and if for no reason other than that and playing for his teammates he is more at fault for quitting imo.
I’ve watched every game. Recievers are wide open all day every game, and he’s not not had to make throws into tight coverage hardly at all. Except for the UGA game.Mate…. I assume you’ve watched the games this year. Does this appear to be a bad thing? Georgia had lights out coverage all day long. The throws simply weren’t there
