I'm sure you heard same as I have from teammates, but Hurd was one of the "me" guys on that roster.

Not sure what exact conversations transpired between Hurd and Butch... but there was all-around friction that built. Any time a player raises concerns about repeated concussions and his health, it's a sensitive issue. Resentment builds when teammates think certain players get preferential treatment, and some players are "me" first. UT had another one portal out last year-- and in today's climate, I agree that Hurd probably would have left before his third year.

There will be more Tennessee fans in Santa Clara, if we get that rematch. This fanbase is starving. I have zero doubt there will be more orange at every playoff game or the NY6, wherever we are

Pushed, bumped, elbowed, ( shoved is probably too aggressive a description based on what I saw. ) Nudged is probably too light, escorted, there wasn't much contact as I recall, and he didn't go down as I recall. No major contact with either a shoulder pad or helmet - what very strong declarative statement are you referring to ? This is getting more play than the guy in the grassy knoll that allegedly shot Kennedy. Perhaps you guys have hashed and rehashed this in the past, my apologies for missing that discussion if so.

Since I am also not tracking your cycle - my apologies if this was a bad time of the month for you - seems you are a little overly sensitive regarding very small insignificant items. Water over the dam - but tell Joe, the idea with time expiring is to throw the ball into the endzone before you encounter defenders and possibly get sacked, tackled out of bounds or chased out of bounds as the clock runs out.

Yeah, at the time I put a lot more blame on Hurd. Now with what came to transpire about Butch and with Kirkland's interview about Butch and then some conversations I've had with players that were there during that time. I realize that Butch was a big problem and as much to blame for his poor locker room culture as anyone else.

Man GTFO with this BS. You two have your back and forth if you want, but don't start slinging insults like that. It is well proven that the female posters who are regulars in here are far less argumentative and sensitive than the majority. So don't disrespect them to infer being female makes someone less than.
