Atlanta sports talk radio was covering this last night. Essentially saying that Auburn wants to steal Saban’s projected successor. Get Dabo established in Auburn and make it difficult for him to later listen to offers from Alabama. It’s espionage SEC style or maybe just Auburn trolling Alabama a little.

There was a time after the game that CH talking about that play where Hyatt got so wide open on the sidleines, the one where Bru blocked for him down the sidelines, and CH said when asked about it said yeah we had that play in our back pocket and it was a great call. Doesn't sound like something CH would say about himself but maybe Golesh gives him suggestions according to what D they are running. Or it could be simply, "hey coach this would be a great time to run that play. Like I said I have no clue and I also see CH with the play call sheet. Maybe its both working together with the final word from CH.

I'm not sure if that was planned or not but he picked a great time to pull it out.They were semi hanging around but u could tell we had em on the ropes.We went and hit that play and the whole momentum shifted and we went off and gave them the business!

I've come to the conclusion I need a job in the recruiting office. Nothing that involves me actually talking to the recruits, but something that lets me know all the details of what's going on. Then I can tease VN about knowing things I can't talk about....

What are you worried about?? Our program is a playoff contender in year 2 under Heupel? Who in their right mind would want to go anywhere else than Tennessee right now? If guys want to go elsewhere and chase money, then go. They will get ample opportunity to make money at TN, however, Heupel will not change the culture to appease anyone. This culture has us exactly where we are now with what everyone considers lower rated guys. Keep the culture and if guys want to be a part of that and work hard, then great! If they don’t, then someone else will take their spot. I have absolutely zero worries about recruiting anymore.

Afraid we have lived so long thinking we have to have better players than everyone else to compete, that it’s hard to remember that what we are actually doing with what was left for these coaches to work with. I want great players. But only if they have the attitude of the players we have now. And I think these coaches really are confident in their abilities to find the type of players they want without worrying about winning the rating wars for publicity. It will take fans a while to adjust.

I’ve never seen a guy who the media wants to see succeed more than Shane Beamer.

That “Shane Beamer Coaching DNA” graphic might be the most shameless thing I’ve ever seen on an ESPN broadcast. And there’s a lot of competition for that honor.

What I really can't stand about Beamer... the unnecessary celebration.

Remember that win against Kentucky?

He was crying, kissing his children and whooping it up like they had won the super bowl. Against Kentucky. The team everyone here had pegged as a fraud from the start. That win looks really good now, doesn't it?

Afraid we have lived so long thinking we have to have better players than everyone else to compete, that it’s hard to remember that what we are actually doing with what was left for these coaches to work with. I want great players. But only if they have the attitude of the players we have now. And I think these coaches really are confident in their abilities to find the type of players they want without worrying about winning the rating wars for publicity. It will take fans a while to adjust.

It won't be long that we'll have highly rated classes because all our players get the Heupel bump.

Our coaches will recruit who they want, and the services will use Heupel as a major evaluator just like they do Bama, UGA, etc now.

It is what they do... hype men.

They have to shine a spotlight on their achievement to make sure everyone sees them.

Don't take offensive schemes into account, but just look at how Heupel and Beamer approach coaching and interviews during the week, before games and after games.

Both in year two.

Josh is all about the process and the team.

Beamer is all about the outcome, or why they were at a disadvantage and about him.

I think it's great to allow the team to celebrate after achieving one of their stretch goals for the season.
