People are assuming Barkley's "surprise firing/ hiring Deion" claims are about Jimbo, but what if it's actually about Pittman? I think it'd be more so a mutual decision than a firing, but Arky seems to have peaked with Pittman. How much better can they realistically be if they struggle making a bowl with Briles and Odom?

I don't think Primetime is going to make it in the SEC, but if your thought is that him at HC is going to significantly elevate your recruiting then Arky makes more sense than A&M.

They dump someone with Pittman’s rep after a minor hiccup season (especially following the two previous coaches) and anybody takes that job at their own peril. Budding Auburn starter kit kind of thing. And if PITTMAN can’t recruit at Arkansas? No one can.

OMg I had forgotten how awesome and emotionally draining "A Memory of Light" is. You would think that knowing the story would preclude having that feeling again...nope.

That has to be the greatest payoff of a epic series ever written.

His new book The Lost Metal. One of the characters has anxiety and the description of how she views the world through her anxiety is very well written and gives a good description of how one thinks with anxiety and over preparedness

Don’t remember if they announced what the specific injury was but his arm was in a sling in a photo op that week and it was announced that he was done for the season.

Pittman hasn't exactly knocked it out of the park in recruiting and has been pretty consistent with their 2 last coaches in that department. I'm also suggesting it'd be a mutual parting of ways.

I think there's another level Arky can hit and I don't see Pittman getting them there.

Who’s killed it recruiting there? Pittman didn’t as an OL guru until he went to UGA. I think Petrino was their nexus and he didn’t do it with superior recruiting. As previously stated, they dump him and they DROP several levels that’ll make Chad Morris look like a Svengali.

Sound like a collarbone, then. Maybe a separated shoulder, but only the most extreme of those would rule him out for the season. Possibly a dislocation.

Which is exactly what what we need at this point and hope it continues to grow into the start of next season, getting more comfortable with Bru and just maybe Hyatt comes back, which he really should... He's had a monster year, but he's not ready for the NFL and I hope his Dad will guide him in the direction of coming back...
He will have another monster year next season and could potentially be the #1-3 WR taken in the draft after next season with his production... I just don't see him going before the end of the 2nd, start of the third if he leaves this year...
