Keep saying it, but this was such a weird game. GA State, Charlotte, SC State all gave up less points and put up a better fight on defense to these guys. Something deeper just has to be going on. This feels like we are back in 16, 17. We have to drum vandy and put this behind us, can’t let this negative energy back in our program after such a good season with all the momentum we’ve built.
Never seen their home games, but I couldn't tell if it was rainy or what. Absolutely pathetic conditions and I have no doubt they were prepared for it with the perfect cleats and gameplan for a defense that couldn't cut or go all out. That whole field was an injury waiting to happen...and then it did. SmdhIs it always like that? Or special for us?

I genuinely think we might be stuck at 9. Injuries piling up and Vandy has a decent QB. Still the best regular season since 2007 but would end as a total wet fart. This loss sucks but the season is still a blessing. Looking at 10 or 11 wins, frankly that’s 2-3 more than I expected this year. I wouldn’t trade a win over USCj for wins over Bama and FU, never. With our roster, a setback game like this was bound to happen. Seemed we were flat against UGA and every game since. Really didn’t look great against Mizzou they are just that bad. Hope Hooker can return before the season is over but if not Milton gets invaluable reps. His ceiling is higher and we have witnessed a limited sample size of that this year. I choose to believe Hype will have him fully ready next season and possibly as our closer this year. Glass is still half full. GBO!
