Milton bashing is lazy.

Will continue until he has a good game as a starter.

I had really excited after the flashes he had this year . The Vandy performance has muted that… Hopefully he shows out in a bowl game, but if he doesn’t and/or we lose… there will be many more voices asking for a QB transfer, and that’s going to be a hard sell with Nico I fear.

I was there. It wasn’t blinding. Rain doesn’t make you throw farther.
Take a look at CJ Stroud's passing stats in the rain vs. Northwestern, if someone wants to make a more fair assessment of how much the rain can affect a QB. This is also an assessment against comparable competition. Some would argue that Vandy is better. Then let's look at Hendon Hooker's overthrows and accuracy against Georgia once the rain started pouring. The point is to make it a fair assessment using two Heisman candidates as a measuring stick. Which SHOULD be unfair.

Pretty or not, we won 56-0. In the rain. And the wind. On the road. I'll take it.

Fundamentally, the plan worked, regardless of whether it's the way HH would have done it or not. Let's at least see what Heupel cooks up for the Orange Bowl before declaring Milton a bust.
