He's a match up problem for sure. And I think it’s gonna require a lot of discipline to maintain gaps and fill running lanes. The zone read is definitely back in play. Our defense is gonna get tested in that game for sure.I'm no foosball coach so idk, but if you bring pressure you need to be dang sure you finish it or else he'll break off a huge run after huge run. Simply bringing any level of pressure won't be enough and may be counterproductive.
My question is how much you trust your spy. I just don't know if we have a good enough spy for him this year.
Tough spot imo. But it definitely appears their rushing and AR rushing is their strong suit. It'd seem you'd force them to beat you through the air...but then there's your secondary.
Nm I give up I'll trust our coaches
But to be aggressive you have to have the athletes. And with our D being on the field so long, you have to have a lot of them. You have to work with what you have not just demand they play the way you want…like Pruitt. We’ll see how the coaches decide to handle the situation.I definitely don’t trust sitting back in zone with one of our linebackers spying. That didn’t work against ole miss last year.
Be aggressive and dictate.
Watching the Ball State game again, way too many short throws to the opposite side of the field by our offense, against better competition half pf those passes would be picked
I wouldn't mind seeing both LSU and UF dropping games before we play them. Both teams will fold after an early loss . I won't be looking forward to either game if we drop the Pitt game and both LSU and UF are undefeated when we play. It's never as easy as we think preseason .Looking forward - how badly are we FSU fans tonight? On one hand I want to see them fall flat, coach fired, take Simmons. But I feel that will happen regardless of tonight's outcome.
Otoh it's more paramount that LSU is straight garbage, so we can deck them this season.
Hopefully both look awful.
not at all. Important game for us from momentum standpoint. Pitt didnt all of a sudden get bad and we got to be world beaters.Just like last year, everyone on the board is starting to look past Pitt…
Lol, it’ll be a full meltdown if we fall to Pitt.
probably true, all of those teams look pretty evenly matched at the moment. The one player that is the difference maker out of that group is Anthony RichardsonNeutral field I'd take Utah by 3-4
Not much impressed me about Pitt, though Slovis was a bit better than expected. But their HC will want to keep running it to their demise.
Utah would've beaten UF at their own place.
And Pitt probably loses at WVU.
