I’d agree to some extent. He inherited a fractured culture. He had an incredible culture when was at Memphis. I watched them last week and the body language appeared much better than when he first started in Tallahassee. Just an observation

That story is very likely fake history. Especially the part about him playing the fiddle, as the fiddle had not been invented when the fire occurred.

We are going to beat them.

The only way we lose is if we somehow play as poorly as we did last year. Turnovers. A million penalties. Tons of missed opportunities on offense.

Key stat

WVU put up 404 total yards of offense on them... can we reasonably think we do worse than that?

Both of UF's backs are difference makers too. Especially Etienne. I saw him break a lot of tackles, make multiple defenders whiff and he fast. Both of their backs made nice cutbacks.

Florida had a LOT of luck last night. Every ball bounced their way and if one of those lucky moments doesn't happen, they lose. I think Tennessee can have a defense that causes problems for Richardson. It'll be his first road game this year and it'll be intense.

Utah looked dead in the 2nd quarter from the humidity. I've seen that look from teams that aren't used to it, coming down here for soccer. They were boneheads waaaay too many times. Give your QB a bootleg and tell him it's there as a throw, a run or hitting a fan in row 4. Personally, on that "4th down stand" I think Utah got in twice. Utah has to be better in getting that reviewed. Utah's QB broke the plain before being down.

UF had little run defense against Utah. It'll be interesting to see what UT's OL can do as the scheme spreads that UF defense out.

Reports are that UT has put a lot of scheme and training into defending against QB running lanes. Hoping that is watershed in games like the upcoming UF game.

I don't think the cleaning blood is just a rumor... well, maybe hearsay, but it has been actually reported as having witnesses.

I have heard that (& this is rumor I guess but from a friend who lives in Memphis) that the husband has already lawyered up. Hired Leslie Ballin as his attorney, he's the lawyer that got Mary Winkler off.

If you're unlucky enough to be a surviving spouse, you're doubling up on stupidity if you agree to being questioned without a lawyer. "If you have nothing to hide..." is the real life equivalent to sports "If you're afraid of competition..."

1. Georgia and Alabama are dominant (no surprise here).

3. Tennessee, Florida, and Arkansas will be interesting. All of us will need to win games with our offense. All of us have playmaking dual threat QB's. All of us have good RB's. I think Tennessee has better receivers than both ARK and FLA, but they have better TE's.
4. Mississippi State, Auburn, and Kentucky. I hope Kentucky was holding back for their sake or they are in for a disappointing season. They looked blah. MSST will play like us but with less talent. Auburn has a fantastic run game and talent on defense. They have poor QB play and will need to win like Iowa this year.
5. Ole Miss, South Carolina and Missouri all looked poor in my opinion and lack offensive and defensive identity. Lane is a good enough coach to figure it out and jump into the 4th tier above. The other two, nah.

I think Ole Miss is probably a little better than what you have them, but that is solely because I want them to lose every single game.
