2022 SEC All-Freshman Football Team Announced

Here is the all sec freshman…. Several starters and some of them are near the top at their position….. why not our freshman?

I did like the idea of going through a 12 game season, then a full bowl season, THEN picking the best 4 teams. I can't remember where I heard that years ago, but it solved the problem of opt outs and the expansion issue because the the NY6 would be a de facto first round. Preserves the classic match ups, players would still want to play. No need for conference championship games.

However, that ship has sailed.

In some games we had Hooker running the option with Sampson, in the LSU game we had Squirrel in the backfield. I'd like to see some plays like that in the bowl. Let's get crazy. Unleash Joe in the run game too.

Clemson thinking well Hyatt is not playing and now they really dont have a threat and their DBs will feast. Then Squirrel goes on a fly route and they hype begins for next year. Clemson will not take him serious, They going to learn

He had been reading heavy into Hyatt’s NIL deals and the narrative that his body wasn’t physically ready for the NFL.

One side of me say it’s the orange bowl against Clemson, huge game
Not like we’re in the music city bowl or something but if I was in his place with a chance at millions what do you do

He’s done an incredible amount of good for the program. Him getting drafted high offsets whatever negative him not playing produces for this game.

Other than with the playoffs, the other bowl games are more like exhibition practice games. Get the extra practices in and for the players to have a good time.

It's just no biggie to win or lose. We lost last year with some fake officiating and still had a 10 win season the following.

I'm a little surprised he won't at least dress out. Is he still going? I figured it would be worth suiting up just for the trip and maybe taking a couple snaps.

91.07 average is the highest since...?

I believe this is the highest average we've had since they began tracking composite averages for the vast majority of recruits. I'd guess you'd have to go back to Fulmer's last top 5 class to find a better average, if we could impute those values.

It sure does feel more and more like the beginning of Fulmer's run...in many ways.

I hope Milton gets every opportunity and the benefit of doubt with any early season mistakes. I also hope the coaches don't dance around the change when/if it's obvious he's not getting it done.

Yeah, even those highly ranked Butch classes didn't have an impressive overall average.

Nico may need some time. Jackson don't look bad . Just hope Joe takes it and runs it back to at least 10 wins, would be great .
