I won't argue with Joe Louis...THAT fight or series of fights would have been the greatest heavyweight matchup of all time imo.Going back and reading all that has been said would help you out here.
Also, Ali was not the greatest...that would be Joe Louis.
Mike did his damage on the way in, Joe did his damage once he got there. And he stayed there all fight. If you wanna see an approximation of what an Ali-Tyson fight would have been like then just go to YT and watch all the Ali-Frazier fights...but you have to keep in mind that was NOT prime Ali.
Tyson could never take the punishment that Joe Frazier did...people forget that aspect of it.
Frazier is who Tyson always reminded me of offensively but Smokin Joe was also an extremely tough sob...he could take a huge amount of punishment.
I believe kids should participate in several sports as well. My son started attending a small private school beginning 8th grade. that year he wrestled and played baseball. His freshman thru senior years he played football, baseball, golf and bowling lol. He was an honor student and ended up getting a partial scholarship for his acedemic achievements. He did get offered a little money from Samford baseball but the cost to go there was still tremendous and he decided to stay in state and go to UT.Yeah my dad pushed baseball hard. I started playing 8u travel ball when I had just turned 6. Played fall ball every year as well. Afterbrec league I didn't have any interest in basketball so that was a no go, and I wasn't allowed to play football because I was too small. My mom wanted me to start wrestling earlier but my dad threw a fit, but I had some friends that did it and I brought it up.
I totally understand the cost thing too, I was lucky enough that dad made enough to pay the bills and mom worked part time to cover ball for Mt sister and I. I understand not everyone having that luxury though.
I didn't stay long. They offered me academic money but no athletic as they told me they weren't allowed to offer both, and that I would get more academic than they could give me. So I totally understand the whole cost thing.I believe kids should participate in several sports as well. Emulating what they see on TV from their heroes. Apparently whether they like it or not, pro athletes are role models.
But I agree, parents and coaches should teach sportsmanship
Where to look and when
C/2022 E3 (ZTF) should be visible without a telescope in the early evening sky for observers in the Northern Hemisphere during the latter part of January and early February in the Southern Hemisphere, states NASA. The comet will appear near the bright star Polaris, also known as the North Star.
The comet will be brightest as it passes Earth in late January, going into February. Depending on that level of brightness – which NASA calls unpredictable – it may become visible to the naked eye in dark conditions.

I ain't going back and reading all that crap...I've head it all before. I was once on the Tyson goat bandwagon...but that ended for me a looooong time ago.
You want tough? Go back to Dempsey, Johnson and Langford when they'd fight for 20 to sometimes 40+ rounds. If you wanna see an approximation of what an Ali-Tyson fight would have been like then just go to YT and watch all the Ali-Frazier fights...but you have to keep in mind that was NOT prime Ali.

@Ulysees E. McGill----thought you might have an opinion. I'll be in San Jose Ca for work for two weeks. I have Sat/Sun to myself. Is Yosemite worth the 3.5 hr drive in the winter or should I head south to Monterey/Carmel area?
