The debate has been "at their prime". Mike Tyson was no longer in his prime by Buster Douglas. Outside influences had ruined him. He lost Cus, he split with Rooney, fell in with King and Givens.... Who knows what else he was into? That was not prime Mike Tyson.
Remember Ali didn't fight during his draft evasion years from age 25-29 so nobody really saw him in his true prime.

I guess AD Mitchell didn't like the Thomas and Lovett pickups.

Makes sense. He has 2 rings. Iโ€™m going somewhere I know Iโ€™m the starter. Plus Georgia will have an unproven QB. They also throw to the TE way more than other teams. I would to with Brock Bowers.

The problem you then get into is what great heavyweight fighter did Mike Tyson actually beat when he was in his prime? There really aren't any.

I saw where they were explaining why the cost is so high, I still don't get it but I don't raise chicken either. My wife bought a gallon of Orange Juice and she said it was $6.00. I told her it was a good thing I didn't go after it because they would still have another gallon to sell to somebody else and I'd drink water.

Tyson couldnโ€™t take punishment? ๐Ÿค” sheesh McGill youโ€™re extremely tough on a man who was 5โ€™10 in a heavy weight class fighting against people who were 6 ft and taller with a longer reach than Tyson.that put him at a disadvantage before the fight ever started ๐Ÿคฃ I just canโ€™t let this comment stand uncontested ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿคฃ
Go watch all his pre-prison fights and see how much he got hit...literally almost never, most of those dudes were beat before the bell rang because they were so scared...Tony Tucker took him the distance but he didn't actually hit Tyson very much, he ran the whole fight.

Then journeyman Buster stood up to him...tagged that jaw and decked his ass.

I stand by that statement, I won't argue Tysons offensive and defensive capabilities early...but I wonder how many others could have hurt him if they hadn't been so tentative....also, who did he ever beat that was a bona fide big timer?

Look...I will say it again, I was all aboard the hype train for many many years, but as I have gotten older and watched a lot of the true greats fights I realized the truth of Mike Tyson...I got off that bandwagon a long time ago.

Looks like the Georgia tragedy is going to get ugly.

Parents are holding a press conference to 'discuss' suing the university and have hired a personal injury firm.

Also: apparently they weren't wearing seatbelts so idk how successful that suit will be. And unless it was a typo, the SDS article said they were both in the driver's seat... and were traveling so fast they split TWO telephone poles in half.
