First LV game I have watched in many years. It would have been more fun to work on my tax return.

It's sad and our AD needs to make it a priority. If he doesn't it will only prove that absorbing the women's AD was bad for women's athletics.

That is a recruiting problem as much as anything. You have to recruit shooters. UCONN is playing the way elite teams play - shoot 3s, win. We are playing 1950s basketball because we can't shoot.
My sister was a huge lady vol fan. Not so much anymore. She Kelly didn't sign any players for the recent class. That can't be true, right?

Blantons is good but not worth $150-$200. I've been getting eagle rare for $45. I definitely think it's worth that. I like the Smoke wagon too.

I get Blanton’s for about $70. It’s not the Blanton’s Gold. I drink a lot of different stuff. Living in TX I can get a lot of good TX bourbons. Garrison Brothers has 3 really good bourbons; their Cowboy bourbon, Balmorhea bourbon, and their Single Barrell. Not so much their Small Batch and Honey. Ironroot has some good stuff as does Balcones…but a lot of their stuff is so so. Still Austin has a really good barrel select line. Their other stuff is meh.

Love me some Thomas Handy Szararac Rye, E H Taylor, and Elmer T Lee from the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Not big on most wheated bourbons like Weller.

Eagle Rare for $45 is a good deal. I prefer Russell’s Reserve 10 for $35-40 a bottle or Noah’s Mill for $55-60 a bottle. Willett Rye (not the bourbon) is a little more $ but good.

If you haven’t tried Old Forrester King Ranch, give it a try. Not the big bite/burn of other bourbons I like, but the charcoal filtering gives it a unique taste. Have gone thru 4 bottles since it’s release last year.

Anyone think DW will be looking for a new LV BB coach after the season? I know there are circumstances but I think most are starting to see what the limits are under the current
This is just my opinion, but I think s number of the biggest LV boosters are among the loudest and most difficult to deal with. Time to look outside the program,IMO, but I doubt it happens.

The Holly years took a toll. I don't watch as much anymore becuase frankly it's painful to see the state we're in. I had a lot of contact with the LV program back in the day and the highest respect for how it was run on the academic side which was far better than any other sport or official activity that I worked with. I don't know what we were doing with recruiting but the absolute lack of a playmaker was painful to see tonight. Most of the time even a bad team will have a playmaker but we have a collection of mediocre to good players that sometimes do good things but often just let mediocrity take over. It's enough to have something if we had just one player who stepped up and led but no one on that team even tried to do that tonight.

The Lady Vols have become/are becoming the LA Tech of women's basketball. Who remembers that LA Tech was a power house women's program?

Have you tried Bowmans Brothers? It's buffalo trace juice that they distill again and age. Same mash bill as Blanton's.

Doesn’t get credit for Jackson, Taylor or George. He didn’t develop any of them. And can you please tell us what our pass defense has been ranked the past 2 years? Oh but the talent issue right?

So for the Martinez defenders who bring up talent, explain something to me. Explain how Akron, Ball State, Western Kentucky, Middle TN State and Bowling Green could possible have more talent in the secondary than us.

Oh and this list? He has been coaching for 30 years. If you think that’s somehow impressive then I don’t know what to tell you.
