Have to believe we'll target more TEs. Still baffled why we haven't targeted more defense. It hurts my soul.

Those giving hints said they will after the bowl games. Plus they want to see who does what during bowl practice and spring. They want to see who transfers from us after those. The good ones on defense knew where they were going, or they’re looking for the highest bidder. Hinted someone is waiting for their bowl to be over before going in the portal. Didn’t want to upset the apple cart with all the great defensive freshmen coming in right now. Lots of reasons why. It’s not a no. It’s a not yet.

I feel you man. You’ve been on here a lot longer than me, but I can remember when I was just a lurker some of the regulars then that aren’t around now. I like to think maybe they just lurk now too.

They are a business. They are looking to make money. If they say something and some people love it and others hate it, that’s perfect for them bc everyone will interact with that information.

That’s what this country loves - capitalism. Go make as much money as possible.

If you want the media to do more research, you’re gonna need to start a non-profit news org. The other option is gov’t controlled media. How’s that sound?

If you started a paper tomorrow, MV, and you strove everyday to bring the public the truth, no matter what, just the truth, your paper would be A PAPER I WOULD BUY, if you were truly honest...and, wish you nothing but prosperity, to make as much money as you possibly could. I would love it, not only for capitalism, but WAY MORE for you. Why wouldn't I?? You would have a publication telling only the truth, and a paper I read, not to mention you're a Vol and a human being...and a Vol!

WE allow WHATEVER to stand or fall, with our money, with our subs, with our clicks, with our follows, and again, with our money....by how much we consume, or do not consume. Not capitalism's fault or glory, but ours. Goes for anything, imo.

But, yeah, MV, I agree...they're a business...ALWAYS asking, What sells? If WE don't buy, they either die, or change their business model.

You guys are fortunate to have a dad to miss. My parents divorced while I was too young to know my dad. I spent a couple summers with him when I was young. That's it. He has passed now and I didn't know him well enough to miss him.

I really don’t understand why this is even an issue. This is exactly how pro sports are. Not everyone gets paid the same

I was not offended. She has had a couple of bone heads for boyfriends but thankfully those didn't last long. She is dating a nice young man right now that I haven't decided if I am going to kill him or not.
