He's the best athlete in the class.................

Great to see Hooker rising so much. If Hyatt runs in the low 4.3s I don't see him lasting until #25.
The best thing that can happen for us, is for Hendon to go higher than originally anticipated and then for him to play really well at the next level...Heupel will be able to get whoever he wants at QB every year a lot easier going forward if that happens.

This has been a pet peeve of mind since I first started watching football as a kid. 4th and 1 from the other team's 37, send in the punt team and precede to boom the ball through the end zone for a 17 yard pickup.

I'm glad we have a coach who's figured out that maintaining possession of the ball is sometimes more important than field position.

Sorry, too long; didn't read. But, all I know is that you are a genius, our parlay just won, +710, $10 to win $80. Thank you, Guru
@UTSuave’ I am often very quick to instruct you on lap-taking, but I have to say that was a great call. You helped our your fellow VN gamblers. That is a good thing.

I say "imo" because the "prime" of someone's career can be a fairly subjective thing and measured in different ways.

Since Pat stopped coaching, Geno has never finished worse than a Final Four appearance and has a winning % of 0.943. He has won a title at a rate of 44% of seasons (*where a postseason tournament was held).

Starting from UConn's first Final Four appearance (bc idk if it's fair to include his first couple of years) until Pat's last season, he had a win percentage 0.901. He won titles 31.8% of seasons.

The subjective part comes where each person draws the line of when his "prime" started, and when it ended (if it is ended).

My opinion was that his prime (or at least the bulk of it) was after Pat's career ended, and that's my logic behind it. Someone could argue his prime started a couple years before that in 07 and I would understand that point, and probably agree. But the bulk of the seasons I consider his "prime" were after.

The only subjective part is if you define prime as = best results, which I don't in this case. To have won 7 championships while Pat Summit was still on the hill and why numerous other legendary women's coaches were still coaching is more impressive than winning now imo and that's why I call that his prime. He wasn't just winning but was having to do it against some of the best coaches. Of the top 10 in women's basketball all time wins only 2 others are coaching currently. But when Geno was winning those 7 titles Pat (3rd all time), Vivian Stringer (5th all time), Sylvia Hatchell (6th all time), Muffet McGraw (7th all time), Jim Foster (8th all time), & Jody Conradt (9th all time) were all still active.
