It’s midweek game quality

Only thing I’m finding frustrating this weekend is the outs we make on the base paths. Got a leadoff walk, then tried a hit and run and instead wound up with a strikeout - throwout double play. No score, top 2. Beam looks good though.

Announcing actually is the best of the weekend. Given low quality of the broadcast, all they can talk about is the game.

We have had an issue with that the whole time TV has been here…. My only real complaint and it’s a minor one.

Beam looks fantastic. Batters honestly look like they are pressing a bit. Chasing balls out of the zone and striking out a lot. We could really do with an inning where we string three or four hits together.

Still early but I think the fielding looks better - perhaps bad fielding was caused by the lights.

But I’m starting to think the hitting is a legitimate concern. We just aren’t putting pressure on any pitcher and we’ve rarely squared any balls up - today or really the whole weekend.
