While I love Pistol Pete...I remember watching his movie as a kid and was mesmerized...and it's also understated how many rebounds and assists he had too...

He did shoot the ball THIRTY EIGHT times a game. Let's be real for a moment, that's absurd lol. For reference, Drew Pember holds this season's record on 48 points. He attempted 24 shots. Granted, he had the luxury of a 3 pt line. But still...what if he had taken 38 shots?!

Pete was a college career 42% shooter. That's really solid. But I'm not sure how efficient that is vs say a big man. For reference - Santi is a 40% career shooter, while shooting a lot of 3s. Chandler was 46% last year while shooting more 2s.

Now, it's hard to even imagine how a 3 pt line could have changed his stats in a positive way. LSU went 14-12, 13-13, and 22-10 in his 3 seasons.
His dad fed him the ball continuously for sure.

But…

Shooting 42% on 38 attempts is a feat on its own. It’s not easy to keep firing shots and be efficient. I’ve also heard as many as half of those attempts were beyond the current 3 point line. His points per game could have been 8-10 points higher.

Lastly, let’s not forget he also lit up the NBA, while he was healthy. The dude had mad skills.

Ive never understood the Verizon UP thing. Seems horribly mismanaged.
It's dumb. They advertise concert tix and all sorts of crap and then I log on and get $3 off Panera Bread. Wtf

The ONLY decent advantage I've ever gotten out of it was one year at Bonnaroo they had a Verizon UP tent with A/C if you could show them/prove to them your verizon account on your phone. That was definitely nice. I thought for sure I'd get up there and they'd say, "actually this is for Verizon UP Elite members only" 😆 I couldn't believe I was actually getting something out of it for once in my life.

I have grown weary of $10+ M per year coaches making excuses or denying the stupidity of the student athletes they developed, over years, who go on to make some of the stupidest and most damaging errors to mankind imaginable. I have grown just as weary of the media members who provide cover as well as ignore the events and activities that lead up to them. Their enablers such as Greg Sankey and the useless NCAA should be placed on notice.

It's just business as Henry T said, right? The same guy who took the money from the soon to be show caused scumbag Fulmer hired that got to play out his college career at sainted Nicky's Bammerland without suffering any consequences, just like Nicky for playing him. All under the the SEC's and NCAA's watchful eyes and approval.

Clown world in UT admin has ended. They have the money to use the law and regulations appropriately. Do they have the Volunteer spirit to fight? Are they willing to give their all for Tennessee today?

They are on the clock. Texas and Oklahoma will be riding in soon to move above the Vols in the SEC pecking order. There is nothing Sankey and the NCAA would like better. Prepare.
Just like all the others that went elsewhere and played without exception.

Henry T and Bama aren't unique.

So what? If the kids were going to be punished, then half our team would've been rooted up along with those that left. There is good reason we didn't rat on the student-athletes.

And what laws and regulations are we supposed to be using? And for what? Dear god we haven't even been handed down our punishment yet. Let's go spend millions on lawyers and to what end? Make lifetime enemies and go nowhere?

We are VOLUNTARILY a part of an association that enforces rules and we, too, (shockingly) have to give and take as being a member of said association. Let's see how things play out - so far it seems we have damn near gotten away with murder. We shed ourselves of an awful coach, upgraded across the board, and we may lose some schollies (plus the original) for outright cheating in the highest order. Am I crazy or does this not feel like a huge win if that is the outcome?! In the 80s programs got beheaded for this level of outright cheating.

Not at all denying any of that. 🤛

Need to dig up some of his videos.

And in the 2000s the Bamas, UGAs, OSUs, Oklahomas, Clemsons get rewarded with championships for an even higher level of outright cheating by a corrupt NCAA that breaks their cervical spine looking the other way, and their lumbar spine bending over to take it over and over from the few annointed...while forcing everyone else to toe the line or get shafted for trying to pkay the same game and compete...that is the issue.

Does anybody in their right mind really believe Pruitt was doing anything different from what he had always done? Where do you think he learned?

Blind as a f'n bat...YOU...are the reason that the Sankey's and the ESPN's of the world get away with the corrupt 🦬💩 they perpetrate.
So then the natural question is...what have you done recently to fix these conspiracies you propose are true? Surely you've taken some real life action and not allow them to get away with it. Surely you've gathered the hard evidence you surely have and have moved forward with it.

Of course not. He was just dumb enough to get caught. Something Fulmer avoided. And those others mentioned did. You actually have to be incredibly dumb to get caught. But it's not like the NCAA or SEC came and figured it out...so where is the big conspiracy? Smh

Did you stop watching SEC games bc of Sankey?

When Vols play on ESPN and SEC Network, do you watch?
Ofc not. It's all rigged. Why watch? Obviously that's how we went 11-2...now we're on the good side. No credit to the players ofc since it's basically wrestling...just the good ole script that got us there 😒😏🤣
