I agree. I hope they are leaving some cap space to sign Simmons. All of this is freeing up some options in the draft.

I find the timing interesting…..

- there have been several ‘rankings” of head coaches lately with Kirby on top and Saban always #2
- the Miller basketball issues
- I think Oats handling of the issue has made it much worse.

You don’t suppose Bama made a call to the NCAA do you?

It’s why I hope the Titans stay away from Broderick Jones. He may turn out to be a perennial all-pro but not worth risking a high pick

Probably. I've said multiple times, I don't want my NFL team drafting anybody from Tuscaloosa or Athens. The bust rate on those guys is insane
