College swimming is short course yards (i.e. 25-yard pool). Virtually all of the fastest times in this format are swum at NCAAs. The 50 free world record in this format is 17.63.

International competition is always meters. The most well-known format (used for the Olympics) is long course meters (i.e. 50-meter pool), but there are also major competitions held in the short course meters (i.e. 25-meter pool) format. The long course 50m free world record is 20.91; short course is 20.16.

It’s a good way for them to make a change and act like they care about shortening games. If they really wanted to make games shorter then the clock needs to run on out of bounds plays. I don’t think they’ve changed that rule yet. Just on 1st downs.

Maybe if they dont have 20 minute halftimes and 3 minute commercial breaks after every series then this won’t happen. There is absolutely no need to keep a continuous clock even after first downs

Yeah. You can tell when a game is on cbs when you're at the game vs ESPN. Even ESPN breaks are silly but cbs milks it as much as they can. Perhaps get rid of tv timeouts, play the game and tell networks to throw ads in around it.

I would be interested in listening to it…. After working with my son…. I realized most hitting instructors that helped my son….didn’t have a clue what they were talking about.
