Yes people have gotten way crazy about dogs. I think my in laws care just as much about their stupid golden doodles as they do their grandkids if not more. It’s sad and weird and many Americans are that way these days.Question: do any of you all dress your dogs up in clothes? Snuggle with them in bed? And buy them Xmas and birthday presents? Just curious. Growing up, a dog was...a dog.
My cousin’s daughter is doing really well, and I immediately think of you. Yes, I spend too much time on here.We have a kid at our club who is 15. Has won the past TWO TSSAA championships in 8th and 9th grade. Routinely shots mid 60’s at the club. Already has more than 30 college offers. Best 15 yr old I’ve ever witnessed…..and I played with several that have played on tour.
Eh, first scrimmage. Not necessarily worried at the moment. We also don’t know if Nico was against 2s and Milton against 1s.. etc.SIAP: listening to “talkin’ VAWLS” they had a high school coach on there (coaching clinic so they got to watch whole scrimmage). He said that 12 (nico) was way better than 7 (Milton). He said Milton was throwing to wrong guys, throwing into contested matchups when there were guys that had separation, accuracy issues. Then said nico is that guy. His decision making was fast and he was way more accurate. First drive marched down field and hit Castles up the middle for a TD.
That bothersome or exciting?
Yep!!!Just curious, what was Coach Pat Summitt’s record her first few years?
I remember when I was at Tennessee, the narrative was that some didn’t think she could get over the hump and actually win a national championship
Coached Tennessee for 13 years before winning a national championship.
Year 3 made AIAW semifinals (ncaa didn’t take over until 1982)
Before they won a national championship:
Knocked out of tournament 3 years before final 4,
Made 4 final fours,
Was runner up 3 years
I remember her being called the brides maid never the bride coach. Just couldn’t win the biggest game(s). Until she did and then all those narratives went away. Then as she continued to win, she became the greatest ever (she always was, just took others a while to realize it).
Just think if the AD had been impatient and moved on to another coach
I am a huge Pat Head Summitt fan. Always will be.
My first thought was it is an opinion from a high school coach so how much does he really know. I mean some on here have coached high school, and their greatest contribution is to find coaches to fire so…. Plus, who is going against the first team defense? That's an opinion. Nothing more or less.
A dog is part of the family. But since I like large German Shepherds, I can’t imagine trying to get clothes on them! Wouldn’t dream of it anyway. Christmas stocking sometimes. In the bed? That’s not exactly what I was saying, should have been more clear. They both played against 1s at points during the scrimmage, but they couldn’t both be playing against only the 1s. I also bet the position groups were swapping around a bunch too so 1s and 2s maybe a little less defined to be fair. Sometimes Milton was against and with mostly the 1s and Nico was against and with mostly the 2s. Next series maybe Milton was against and with mostly the 2s and Nico was against and with mostly the 1s. What we don’t know from that high schools coach’s comments was against what units each looked good or not so good against. We can make assumptions, but we just don’t have that exact context.Heup in PC said it was 1s vs 1s..said iron sharpens iron
Studio and concert scenes are the best part about it, and Riley Keough.Watched six episodes of Daisy Jones and the Six. The studio stuff is really enjoyable. The testimonials are so stilted and terribly acted. Kinda surprised they kept them in the show. Its like they took the second AD and gave them a list of sentences and put the actor in front of the camera and had them read them off one at a time. I will finish out the season even if its hitting every single cliche along the way.
