I'm over the baseball team. Football just around the corner. Also, I find it slightly amusing remembering the number of people whoon the BasketVols, completely wrote them off, and made references to "I am just waiting to watch winning baseball, they won't let me down," statements.
Grass is always greener.
I believe BaseVols will get it sorted, though.
I turned my tv off after that disaster@cHiZzLeVOL is having a freaking stroke right now
Blah. Nothing excuses all the errors being made. As a pitcher how can you pitch without being able to trust the fielders behind you…..This does suck but let’s keep in mind we have played 3 top 5 teams in a row (not counting next week). We wouldn’t play that tough a stretch until Omaha (if even there)
I don't know the time limit on practices, but whatever it is, can't we work double plays the entire practice one day?
That's at 2b. He's often involved some how. Change up 2b and see if it sparks some focus into him.If the same dudes keep making errors I say you switch said individual(s). I mean at some point you have to do something. I don’t care how good their bat is…. We are losing because we can’t field for crap.
I say vice versa. He loved baseball and would have stopped his part time “hobby” well short of HOF candidacy imo. We forget just how great he was at his first love. With a fake hip he was still launching homeruns.
I know his story…and his stats. We’re talking “what if”. With a functioning hip, this was a transcendent athlete who loved the game. 1989 (his All-Star season) was an indicator of the player he was bound to be. And he would have at least plied his trade to his late 30’s/early 40’s. Increase his average a tad along with his power and defensive elite prowess? That’s at least as good as Kirby Puckett…and far away from “no way”. I was no fanboy of Bo. That “Bo knows” ad campaign annoyed me at the time. Age has a way of making one recognize the greatness witnessed in a lifetime.Baseball is all about stats. Bo Jackson’s stats say he was good, not great, and nowhere close to HoF.
I remember people saying they were done for the football season in the 2nd quarter vs Pitt saying the team clearly had no fight and wasn't "it".Also, I find it slightly amusing remembering the number of people whoon the BasketVols, completely wrote them off, and made references to "I am just waiting to watch winning baseball, they won't let me down," statements.

Yep….. maybe if he dedicated himself to it full time…. He never reached a .900 ops…. Didn’t walk…. Struck out a lot…only had a slugging % above .500 one season…. Best athlete that I have ever seen though.Baseball is all about stats. Bo Jackson’s stats say he was good, not great, and nowhere close to HoF.
