Needed anyway to move SEC kickoff, SEC championship, and playoff games from Atlanter to Tennessee for as many years as they have been in GA. After -- and only after -- that, we can talk about rotating.
Very true. Which is why I personally think it’s a good investment for Nashville. It’ll recoup its money rather quickly after a few of those events start rotating

I’m certainly not saying Levis is as good as Allen coming out of college from an on the field performance stand point, but the comp is dead on from a measurable stand point. Their combine results and body comps were identical. Scouts see this and are getting excited and so they’re ignoring the on field results and making excuses for him. Some GM will be fired for drafting him high.
You could argue he was as/more productive in college than Allen. Here are the stats for the past two years of their career in college.

Josh Allen:
56% 3,203 yds 8.6 y/A 28 TDs 15 ints 523 yds rushing 7 TDs
56.3% 1,812 yds 16 TDs 6 ints 6.7 y/a 204 yds rush 5 TDs

Will Levis:
66.0% 2826 24 TDs 13 ints 8.0 ypa 376 yds 9 TDs
65.4% 2,406 19 TDs 10 int 8.5 ypa -107 yds 2 TDs

I get why people like him…. Im just glad my team has a qb….. I get to sit back and enjoy the show.

Oh I do, I was just joking with you because it was soooo many puns. Lol. Don't actually stop (not that I'd be worried you would)
Apologies if offense was taken
No sir, none taken at all. I always respond that way when someone groans, complains or makes fun of my puns. I knew you were joking and tried to respond in kind.

Complete waste of taxpayer money.

The state of TN is well-run fiscally. The Titans and NFL are paying $840 million toward it.

The state just approved $350 million to upgrade facilities in Memphis, including the FedEx Forum. It’s a long term plan that will bring more revenue in for the state. You have to spend money to make money.

But you know it happens in every city with pro sports. The owners can't afford it 😂. They can only afford to take in the profits. It's maths. You should be used to it. I just want to move all the bonus college games from Atlanta.

Personally there's 2 very specific reasons why I wouldn't draft Will Levis.

1. Mark Stoops - His style of coaching is defense first, run the ball, manage the game at QB. His best finishing teams were all run heavy offenses and one season a WR played QB the bulk of the year for them. Doesn't develop QB talent, doesn't prepare or help them develop for the next level just ZERO track record of any of his QBs being able to even hold a roster spot at the next level. Levis played in 24 games there and has 636 attempts in those games but just 5232 passing yards. Hooker in 24 games at UT had 632 attempts and put up 6080 passing yards

2. Christopher Rodriguez Jr. - Any QB with a RB that has a career 6.2 YPC should be able to put up some numbers, no one is coming in trying to stop the passing game against Kentucky. NO ONE. 38 games for Levis, only 7 throwing 250 or more yards and 6 of the 7 were against non P5 schools. The 7th was TN in a shootout (which they lost) in Heupel's first year.

24 starts at Kentucky and only in 50% of those games did he throw for 200 or more passing.

Just feel like Levis is a throwback to the 90s era of pro QBs, where you had guys like Smith, Thurman, Edge, George, Dillon, the Bus, Martin, etc. that would rack up 300+ carries and you're just being asked to throw it 20-25 times a game with the bulk coming off PA into single coverage looks.

Studies on the revenue impact of stadiums are decidedly mixed. These are billionaire owners. They don't need to be fleecing taxpayers to build stadiums, especially when there's no chance they're leaving Nashville anyway, but legislators are all too happy to dip into the public trough to finance nonsense. It's someone else's money after all!

For every Josh Allen there are 50 Jake Lockers.

Oh yeah, Nashville hosting the draft = big bucks and one of the largest crowds in draft history.

New stadium = Super Bowl, and most likely hosting one SB will pay back that investment double.

On the other hand… if Levis is as good as these people think he is, Kentucky is going to be terrible next year. I wouldn’t complain about that.

He had a good year with a good OC, but it's always hard to give much credit to Kentucky when they succeed since Stoops tries to cupcake walk and Louisville has made that even easier for them in recent years.

I just feel like if your best season with a good OC playing a weak schedule and having an elite rushing game is: 66% 2826 passing yards and 24 TDs 13 INTs then you're not a NFL talent.

5 QBs in the SEC had more passing yards that year than Levis, including Stetson Bennett and Matt Corral.

In fact Levis was 6th in completion %, passing yards, qb rating and TDs that year the only category he lead the SEC in was INTs in his best season.
