I would say you're thinking too much. It's not a conspiracy. If you're comparing the two outta college Hyatt would never be taken before DeVonta by anyone objectively.

Jalin also only played under Pruitt for 1 season, not 2.
Ahhh yes one very long year haha. Once again never said anything close to that. Simply stating two player of identical stature and skill set. One never questioned about routes and the other that’s all he gets questioned about. Ran same routes to get open and used in identical ways.

The bold part is where I'm disagreeing with you.

Same stature, yes. Skill set, from all accounts also yes (can't apples to apples since DeVonta didn't do skills at combine)

Ran same routes and used in identical ways, not at all. Sark's offense isn't Heupel's and DeVonta had far more of a route tree on tape because of two full seasons being utilized as their number one target.

That doesn't mean Hyatt CAN'T do it, it just means that comparing the two as if they did the same thing in college isn't an opinion I share.

My point is that JaVonta Payton, Cedric Tillman, Velus Jones Jr, Squirrel White, Ramel Keyton, Jimmy Holiday, Jimmy Calloway have all been here as well. Velus even clocked a faster 40 time of 4.31 and NONE of them have had the ability to get open as often and consistent as Hyatt did this past season and he didn't have the same sort of benefit of having a known playmaker opposite him every game.

So even if it is scheme why is it only him? I think it has more to do with Hyatt than just he's in a scheme that gets him open. He's obviously a freak athlete, he showed that at the combine. He's obviously a hard worker, he put in more work on the jugs machine than anyone else before the season started.

The scheme allows the talent to showcase their talent, but it does not and will not create talent where it doesn't already exist and work for itself.
Yeah I don’t know enough about our offense to answer those questions. If you’re right though, Hyatt is gonna kill it in the NFL and make tons of money. I’ll be happy for him.

Personally though, I think Velus could have replicated Hyatts season if he was here in 2022 and put in the same situations. I mean Velus kept Hyatt on the bench for a lot of the year.

I don't think I'd disagree with that point about Velus. I think Hyatt spent his sophomore season learning a lot from Payton, Velus and Tillman. He carried that education into his off-season prep and had a big season. Had Velus gotten a 2nd year with Heupel he could have potentially done the same thing.

Also as I stated before I think if Hyatt stays healthy and makes the catches he's got the potential to have a great NFL career. That's my biggest concern with him, health & catching the ball (he did have 2 frustrating seasons here not being great at making catches).

Late to the Hyatt discussion. Wasn’t devante smith used same way as Jalin? If I remember correctly most of devantes catches were go, slant, come backs. He was praised. Tyreek hill has made a living off of just being fast. Who cares about a route tree? Those are things athletes can learn.
Yes

Haha, she's shy. She starts writing the story, then erases it and asks to talk about something different.
@nicksjuzunk 😆
The story went on about how big his neck got and how he sacrificed everything, losing his wife, his job, his kids 😆. . . then for some reason she deleted it before I could get a screen shot of the rest of the story.

Sally wrote a theme song to the story:
"Some people may laugh and call me names, but they don't understand the joy of neck gains" 😆 😆 😆

Edit: I tried to get her to fix the 1st verse, since it didn't rhyme. . . this is what she came up with. . . I really thought she was gonna say something besides socks 👀

I took my wife to the Taylor Swift show on Friday in Nashville. I don't know if anyone else here went to any of the Nashville shows, or any of the other cities. Her fans go freaking crazy for her. I will say, she put on a great show. She's a pro.

There were only 70,000 (mostly female) fans in attendance but they got to 120+ dB several times during the show. It was like a Tennessee game if every play was third down or a touchdown.

I left Nashville on Thursday and they were setting up for it. Looked to be a big weekend over there.

Yall ever talking to a fan of another team and then find out that you know more about their favorite team than they do and then it's awkward?

Was talking to a Nebraska fan who was in his late 20's yesterday.

He was just kinda blabbering about Nebraska's tradition as if I wouldn't already understand that because they've been bad.

For one he tried to say the 97 team was voted the best team of all time and I said "pretty sure that was the 95 team"

Said they won't titles in 93,95,97

It was in 94 not 93

Then he said they had won ONE HUNDRED conference championships 🤣🤣🤣 "uh there's no way they've won 100 conference titles"

Like c'mon man

Don't try and spit facts at a true sports degenerate

You gon learn real quick I've wasted way more of my life than you 😎

My wife and I took my daughter and her friend to the Sunday show in Atlanta, but only my daughter and her friend went. We went to Ponce City Market and then waited a couple blocks from the stadium for the last couple hours. We could hear them screaming and could hear the songs pretty clearly. In retrospect, we wish we would have gone...she's got some good songs.

Watch the tape. This is what I’m saying. Heup isn’t reinventing anything. He runs motion, trips, pockets, just like everyone else. The thing about his offense that is different is; pace and match ups. This is what every OC should do?
Yes they ran same routes, just like every other WR in the country does.
edit for this. The real thing that separates heup from them is this. Choice routes. Play what the defense gives you. But you still have to run the same routes as everyone in the nation.

I only knew the really popular songs from radio and secondhand (wife) exposure, but she definitely has good ones. I was unaware of over half the songs but they are apparently lady anthems.
