If UT baseball continues its success, then I would think you would have customers through part of May. So, that would be September thru May. The summer months would most likely be down, but you could add some concerts or events during that time. You have to give people a reason to come to campus though.

Chattanooga always did a market during the offseason to bring business around the stadium. I could see something like that working. Not just farmers but art, jewelry, food vendors and other artisan stuff

Not quite they had live music and things like Oktoberfest and beer fest. Actually pretty fun and brings in a different crowd than just sports fans. 2023 Chattanooga Market Season

yeah, this was talked about a while ago, some thought it was a bad thing....other thought it was a sign of how aligned we are at the top, and a good thing.

i think all in all it's probably a good thing to have that kind of unity/alignment. kinda sends a message to everyone involved....the only way it goes bad is, well, if it goes bad......lol. and if you're willing (D White) to put that kind of clause in your contract, i'm anticipating he doesn't expect it to go bad.

The Rose Bowl does a flea market, and it's massive! Granted, Pasadena right outside LA; but, yeah, it's huge. Over 50 years they've been doing it.

I agree with the first part. I am not sure if Midway had gone the other way if it would have ended differently. No way to know for sure, thank goodness.

It may not have ended differently, but it would have taken a lot longer, and a lot more of our boys would have died. Japan would have taken Midway, and then thoroughly entrenched themselves even deeper on the territory they had taken...think no Guadalcanal, no New Guinea....it would have been a nightmare and our people didn't have the guts to do what it took imo..the nation was extremely war weary by the end as it was, can you imagine if we had lost hundreds of thousands more men trying to knock the Japs off of all those islands how much the American will would have withered?

They were right to a degree, we just weren't as soft as they thought...we are now, we are doomed.

I thought it was pretty transparent. I'm just saying...the Rose Bowl sucks. The Rose Bowl stadium sucks. The Rose Bowl Game sucks. The Rose Bowl Parade sucks. Pasadena sucks. California sucks. Luckily, Tennesseans are generally very charitable, so we will happily grant California high school football players refugee status as they flee that state.
