I'll be in Arlington, TX for 3 days in July. The Rangers will be playing at home, so I'm thinking of going to a game. Anyone ever been to the new stadium? Any specific seating area I should look for tickets?
an impressive feat. Kids start at LL throwing sliders and torquing arms. Not sure there is a need.May 15, 1918
Walter Johnson of the Washington Senators pitched an 18 inning shutout vs Lefty Williams and the Chicago White Sox.
Let’s see anyone do that today…

Because we got lucky and hired the right guy...total crapshoot.
Dog got diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago. He's been a trooper because he's a very good boy but it sucks.
The initial testing and treatment has been incredibly expensive. Like never-trust-my-vet-again expensive. I certainly could not think less of Blue Pearl now, where he is receiving treatment.
I can't even get a second opinion or meet with another Dr because all the oncologists and other vets are on a 60-day wait, minimum, because all of the people/pets that have moved here.
Anyone else had to go through this? My only options are spend thousands or let the cancer have its way.
So what you're saying here really is two things.
1. you're not in or near Knoxville
2. you don't keep up with the music acts coming to Knoxville
If anything this new "entertainment" hub would just allow UT to take advantage of the ability to bring in big acts more frequently to TBA and potentially open up Neyland for large scale outdoor shows as well.
A few acts that are on the slate for TBA concerts the next couple months
Break Benjamin with Bush
Hank Williams Jr.
Thomas Rhett
Guns N' Roses
Aerosmith with The Black Crowes
I had to have my dog put down because of cancer. His was untreatable. It would've destroyed me if it had been treatable and I couldn't afford it. . . which would've most likely been the case if it were treatable.Dog got diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago. Try to find a vet that does alternative medicine. Our family dog was diagnosed with cancer and we were told 1-3 months, 3-6 if we did chemo/radiation. Got a second opinion, found a vet that prescribed a Chinese herb blend (very inexpensive) and we just put her down a little over a year after her diagnosis.Dog got diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago. Very sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to you. We had a German Shepherd when I was a kid who got arthritis in his back legs so badly he couldn't get up. We had to carry him home and get something to put him "to sleep." I still remember it so clearly. It is hard to have no good choices. Our two year old GSD that wifey and have now is so precious to us. I don't know how I could stand news like you just got. Sorry about the vet situation too, of course. You will be in my thoughts.
People, never take your pets for granted.
Also, our dog was expected to live just a couple months, but we started giving him serrapeptase. He lived for 2.5 more years. Idk if it was the serrapeptase or if the vet just gave the wrong expectancy, but may be worth looking into.Dog got diagnosed with cancer a couple months ago. What did Henry VIII say to his six wives when he met them? "Don't worry I won't keep you long" !May 19, 1536
In 1536, England’s King Henry VIII accused his second wife Anne Boleyn, who had been crowned queen in 1533, of charges including adultery, incest and conspiracy against the king. At her trial, she was found guilty, and on May 19, 1536 she was taken to Tower Green in London, where she was beheaded by a French swordsman, rather than the standard axe-wielding executioner.
Historians believe the charges against her were false, issued by Henry VIII to remove Boleyn as his wife and enable him to marry his third wife, Jane Seymour, in hopes of producing a male heir.
