Update on Parker - no UTI, no upper respiratory virus, white blood cell and platelet counts look pretty good. No fever today so far (praise God) but still low on energy. They think it’s something just nasty viral. But we are awaiting results on some cultures and a couple other things. Thank you guys for continuing to pray. Keep ‘em coming. Let’s go get a run-rule today! Please say a prayer for our 1 year old son Parker. Day 5 of very high fevers (104+) and lethargy and at the ER again for the 2nd time in 3 days. Doing CBC test, catheter to rule out UTI and some different viral panel swabs. There is nothing worse in this world than seeing your little man in pain. Just want him 100% and some peace of mind.View attachment 552673View attachment 552677

All of our weekend starters have not had enough rest. Lindsey pitched Friday and today would only be 3 days rest. Not many other options than Halverson. You could throw Russell or Sewell, but not sure who else you might think could go. Seachrist could be an option too I guess. What do you Morans think about Halvorsen starting today? I get the need for better pitchers further in the tournament but also think you need to win one at a time.
Are teams required to rest pitchers a minimum amount of time or do they just rest them as much as they think will keep them fresh? All of our weekend starters have not had enough rest. There is no requirement that I know of. You almost never see any starting pitcher start on 3 days rest anymore. Occasionally in MLB in the playoffs or World Series. Almost everyone is on some kind of pitch count that could be a little flexible, but gets adhered to pretty well. Are teams required to rest pitchers a minimum amount of time or do they just rest them as much as they think will keep them fresh?
Which leads me to something that's been on my mind...was Chandavian Bradley THAT BAD last year?? A massive drop!! Whenever that kid committed to us, he was a 5 star Top 25 player...go look where he ended!! Yeah, for those who may not have known!!Just saw the updated 247 rankings. Almost all Tennessee commits and leans dropped . Tale as old as time.
