15-0
Looking at the schedule, I could see undefeated if things roll and the ball bounces our way. I could see a floor of 9-3 if not.

Jmo but you're underestimating how insane it is to be the #1 offense...while playing in the SEC...vs possibly the toughest schedule in the whole country.

Afaik last year was our first ever #1 offense. These don't grow on trees, especially when the likes of USC, OSU, Clemson get to play their schedules and we play ours.

Otoh finishing with an offense pumping out 35-38 ppg and finishing top 15 seems reasonable. I think we have to remember JUST how elite HH was last year. Not a knock on JM, but what we saw was generational greatness. Best season of any UT QB ALL-TIME...and not all that close. And replacing that OL production is not going to be easy, they were very underrated for what they did.

That said, our defense will just keep getting better and anchor us a tad more imo. A team that can score 37 and allow 19 would have us right back in the thick.
Keep in mind that as our defense improves and is actually able to get off the field for a change, our offense will have the ball more. As a result, our offense could score more points even if they aren't quite as efficient. I believe that we still haven't seen the best out of this offense. Our overall level of talent is rising significantly, and I expect that to continue for at least the next two to three years.

Let's all thank Big Game Boomer for the extra dose of incentive in the LB room this summer.

Now, as for Beasley's performance in the Orange Bowl...

With bowl games you just never know how much was a great individual performance, and how much was preparation and scheme from coaches with weeks of film study. How many of those sacks came off of reads that coaches spotted in those extra weeks before the game? Or, how many times were they set up by a specific combination of DL stunts, which they knew would open up an unblocked lane against Clemson's preferred protection package?

None of that is to question Beasley's ability. But I'd be happy if the thought tempered fans' expectations about how productive Aaron will show in September.

Apparently the rest of us know a lot more than you.
It's hard to know something before the brackets are announced. It might affect our seeding but we still have to go out and win 3 or 4 games to advance wherever it is. I will say if this loss is in their heads as bad as it is with some posters on here, then we are doomed.
