He's been clutch in late game situations throughout Regionals and Supers. He's definitely struggled at the plate, but he's also getting on base when we need him to.

My dad always told me your objective as a batter is to get on base - walk’s as good as a hit…so if you walk you won against the pitcher - it’s a good at bat!

I really want to play Texas in Neyland next year

At some point, we should play Texas in the Alamodome, just for the symbolism. I still say we need a trophy rivalry game with them. The Battle for Betsy where the trophy is a reproduction of Davy Crockett's rifle. Of course, the anti-gun people would probably lose their minds and say it glorifies gun violence. It'll never happen anyway, and that's the least of the reasons why. But I think trophy games are kind of cool. I miss the beer barrel.
