First of all: Knoxville 2 hours to the east? He must fly over the plateau.
But a couple of other things he brought up that I think are interesting—1) Our receiving group may be the best in the country, and we will add a break out TE this year. 2) I think/hope our DBs will be the most improved group on the team and, if so, we will be really hard to beat. 3) Arion Carter is gonna be fun.

In his 26 seasons as a collegiate head coach, Saban has compiled a 274-67-1 (. 803) record, including a 183-25 (. 880) mark in Tuscaloosa. His teams at Alabama have won eight SEC Championships while he has 10 SEC titles to his name (2001, 2003 at LSU) to go along with seven national championships (2003 at LSU).
This pukes me

Now that marijuana is legal in so many states, actual medical research revealed that cannabis does nothing whatsoever for glaucoma. Sorry dude.

Which is a bigger shame than most folks realize because even with more than one insurer my mom's eyedrops cost a fortune. She doesn't have glaucoma proper but she has high pressure in her eyes.

I gave him a small endorsement...

Aw hell, why not. If he's the coach. I'm supporting him. I'm ready to see some offense around here anyway.

I feel like that's where I came to after 15 minutes to take it in...and then I went over his offensive stats and was full hard-on the Hype Train 20 mins after that.

Feel like I was battling the recruiting narrative within just 24 hours lol. His actual numbers and results, with context, ended up much more meaningful than his "declining" record. Which was bs from the start. And his recruiting was great for anyone that realized 1) it's relative to where you're recruiting to and 2) he took a ton of P5 transfers in that used to not be included in any metric. Iirc one class alone he took in 6-8 P5 transfers lol

That was a fun read. There were a few positive folks, @Bassmaster_Vol , @MoCo_Vol , @SweetasSoda , @Geaux_Vols and a very positive post from @Ulysees E. McGill

How do you score 42-43 points a game over three years (top 2, 2 and 5 out of 130 teams) and not "develop" players that were not highly ranked? That sounds like pretty good development to me 🤷‍♂️ Maybe on defense? I could understand that criticism. With a really good defense they probably only lose 2-3 games the last three years..

He will have to recruit better, and put together a great defensive staff.

Yeah....but you feeeeeel like your glaucoma is fixed 😅

I've always figured the real benefits were quite a bit less than purported. And compared to the carcinogenics and other downsides, I'd be surprised if it's even much above "neutral".

Which is, hey, still more than most can say about cigs or alcohol. The whole "drink for the antioxidants" is bs 😅 And the long-purported "correlations to better health" were just that. Rubbish. Decades of crappy research, many funded by the industry itself sadly. Even a drink or two a day materially raises chances of cancer. But to each their own, we all take risks. And we should be able to in a "free" society.

We just need legitimate transparency and truth as to what the risks are. Not fans or companies of a certain drug pumping it up to what it is not.

I like that Streater guy, if you hadn’t noticed.

just don't get all this trending to Clemson... something has to be up...what have they done lately...except get dismantled by UT not even at full strength... and yet some are trending away from us and to the orange and purple clown cult... just doesn't pass the smell test... Guess we'll see.

You know how we used to watch those non P5 teams offenses flying around and saying why can’t we have that?
