Clemson has been extremely successful in college football over the past decade. They have been to four national championships and they have won two of them. They have several first round draft picks over the last decade which demonstrates a clear ability to put people in the league. Yeah, Dabo makes us cringe but to say "what have they done lately?" is a crazy thing to say.just don't get all this trending to Clemson... something has to be up...what have they done lately...except get dismantled by UT not even at full strength... and yet some are trending away from us and to the orange and purple clown cult... just doesn't pass the smell test... Guess we'll see.
How do they feel about the use of weighted balls in training? You are correct on easy on the arm. IF THROWN CORRECTLY. And most 12 year olds can’t do it repeatedly. Also, if not thrown from regular mound distance, then they have to relearn it anyway. Most middle school coaches can’t teach it correctly and if they do, kids can’t consistently repeat. Darren Holmes as well as guy who has worked with big name mlb guys with a biomechanics degree have shared this with me.
Yeah….I trusted coaches/trainers early on in my sons development…. Lost his hitting coach and knew my sons swing didn’t look right…. I researched myself and realized that I didn’t believe that the coach was teaching him the correct way to swing… I changed what he was being taught and he made huge gains almost instantly… There are two kids that play with my son that go to two of the most respected pitching coaches in our area…My sons mechanics and pitching looks better than both of those kids so it’s hard to justify spending the money when I don’t see those kids getting better results… I do wish I had a hitting coach/ pitching coach that I trusted to work with my son bc he needs a different voice than mine.My son threw 4 seem Fastball and changeups until 13 and he was in 8th grade with slider. Picked up cutter and two seem in 9th. Mostly 2 seem slider cutter and change now. He was fortunate to have one pitching coach since 9 and a summer coach that was similar with his regular coach. It’s hard to find good ones.
That picture is hanging nearby my front door…. One of the first things that you see when you enter my house.Happy 4th Everyone!!
As hubby and I were having our early holiday meal at Calhoun’s on the River, I looked at the river and had this thought that went thru my head..Wonder where exactly the goal post is..Then I thought about the video of the guy standing across the street from Neyland that was filming the end of the game sound which was the roar of 100K fans after an epic win..And then I thought about this..

To be clear, all I’ve said is we need to recruit better on the offensive line and Larry Johnson won’t be a good player here. We don’t have a back-up option at tackle and if we get Warren it’ll be lucky/fortunate because we were out of options. All my criticism is directed at OL recruiting. Those of you who've payed closer attention than I have, does @volfan2022 know what he/she is talking about or no? All I know is today, he's called our players no good and fat, and our coaches lucky in recruiting. To me, he reeks of troll; but, as I said, idk...just started paying attention to him/her today.
I mostly lurk, but haven’t seen those comments. Where are they? I have gotten that vibe on what I’ve read from him. Those of you who've payed closer attention than I have, does @volfan2022 know what he/she is talking about or no? From a SC mod:
“With regards to Amick, after having spoken with multiple sources on Monday about his recruitment, he is most likely going elsewhere. Assistant coach Monte Lee has been in touch with the family and Amick is actually spending the next couple of days with one of South Carolina’s current players. But the feeling is that he can’t get past his history and his family’s history with Clemson, which we noted as the major hurdle in his recruitment in our very first update weeks ago.
If I had to put in a Crystal Ball, it would be for Tennessee. North Carolina made a really strong push during their visit on Sunday and while they have come out of the blue late in the process, it wouldn’t be a complete surprise if that’s where he chose to go. Texas A&M head coach Jim Schlossnagle did make his scheduled in-home last night, but there didn’t seem to be much traction there.
I won’t completely rule out the Gamecocks, but it seems unlikely. I expect him to finalize his decision by Wednesday.”

Florida not an option? From a SC mod:

Thank you. I’ll sleep okay I promiseNot sure why you're getting piled on today. You haven't said much beyond what the majority has stated about our OL recruiting the past couple of years.
Sharing information is tough on here. Say a couple of comments that aren't categorized as pure fandom, and some will turn on you quick.
It's an endless cycle. The "insiders" always get eaten alive at some point. Keep doing you. You're just gonna need some thick skin in the process.
