Not sure why you're getting piled on today. You haven't said much beyond what the majority has stated about our OL recruiting the past couple of years.

Sharing information is tough on here. Say a couple of comments that aren't categorized as pure fandom, and some will turn on you quick.

It's an endless cycle. The "insiders" always get eaten alive at some point. Keep doing you. You're just gonna need some thick skin in the process.
If you don't want people to question your opinion, don't share it. Of course people are going to question you if you question the coaches. We know how much experience they have. We have no idea some rando who starts talking like they know something. I do respect most people's opinions, but have never understood why they think people will let it go without comment.

I gre up in Appalachia. For my money, Alaska is best, then Washington, then Oregon, then California. The Pacific mountains are just spectacular and incredibly diverse.
I've been to them all...Alaska twice, including the Inside Passage, 2 trips out west, including the Canadian Rockies, and spent a lot of time in the mountains here in our part of the country (and now live in NE TN). All very beautiful in their own way. Different, but all beautiful.

To me, the only thing the mountains out west have over the mountains here is that diversity you speak of.

Reading through the CJH hire threads it's very clear that UCF fans were not a good source of info. I think that would apply to all fan bases when a coach is leaving.

Exactly. It's fun to look back on it, but it means nothing. A bunch of opinions without much substance.

Heup had a lot to prove. He had taken over after a highly successful Scott Frost built the program and roster. Virtually everybody wanted a higher profile, proven commodity. Heup proved it and we have learned Danny White knows his shiz. He had to prove himself as well after the parade of incompetent AD's.

Larry Seivers

Tennessee’s only 2X All- American WR
I have met Larry a few times. Once as a child and another as an adult. His senior year, he came and signed autographs at a friends birthday party. I had my picture made with him. I also met Ron McCartney (sp?) who went on to play some for Falcons in NFL

There are other boards where you can stay on Dabo's jock as much as you want.
Amen, Clemson is on the decline I said it 2 years ago. Not saying they won’t be good but they are not going to be dominating. They will have there hands full with the rest of the ACC in the coming years. And give me our staff over there’s all day long and twice on Sunday. And yes we whipped them good in the Orange Bowl! GBO!

I can’t wait for Michigan fans to scratch their heads when Milton starts throwing dimes

Yeah, we seem to misunderstand the whole "accept opinions" concept. You can always accept other people's right to have an opinion. But that is not the same thing as letting someone who wasn't able to pass Algebra 1 run the books for your company because they have an opinion about how companies should run their books. Or drive your exoensive stock car in a Nascar race because they drove on a go cart course one time and have an opinion about how to drive in a Nascar race. If a person wants people to not only respect their right to have an opinion but also respect the opinion itself then people should refrain from forming definitive opinions on subjects that they lack thorough information about/context about/ background knowledge. Otherwise it is actually important that we do NOT lend weight to opinions that are uninformed. Be patient and immerse yourself in everything there is to know about a subject before you develop a strong opinion. Then also realize in quite a few situations in life you have to accept that you do not have to capacity to develop a strong opinion on certain matters.

That went a little deeper than originally planned, lol. Step down from my soapbox now.

We are rising above Clemson! We beat three of the last four teams to win championships last year. I prefer to state these things positively about our team and results.

This is the reason why anyone being "concerned" about recruiting or anything else football related can go fly a kite. This is an 11 win team coming back with a lot of firepower. From what this fanbase has been through, I mean how can we be critical of recruiting? How?

Ive spent time in CO, WY, and MT. While I think MT is the prettiest of all those places. Appalachians are stunning, perhaps even prettier. Asbsoroka-esque.

The coal that runs down the Nolichucky Gorge is how we made our living. Graves up and down and around Indian Grave Gap, to the Shelton Laurel Massacre over Spivey Mtn into NC...history connects us.

I truly believe the section of Applachians from
Boone to Asheville, including Roan, Sugar, Mitchell, are the most beautiful that ive seen.View attachment 560835
I think McGill helped me understand it when he said he didn’t like the fuzzy mountains. I thought that’s it. I like the fuzzy!

And several thousand additional feet of height....
