I agree, best chancs I've ever seen!,I feel like if anyone unexpectedly had a breakout season this year it would be Keyton, he has a better chancs than Squirrel and Thorton imo
I'm not sure about the numbers, but it was easy to see that our offense wasn't running as smoothly when Tillman was in. Not that Tillman is bad, it just seemed more. . . fluid when he was absent and it didnt matter what point in the season. . . whenever he was playing, it seemed more clunky, for my mind's lack of a better word.Still don't know what that has to do with my theory that Hooker sometimes forced the ball to Tillman. Never stated that predilection was the ONLY factor in the losses...just a substantial portion. A misfire trying to get him the ball spread out over the course of the game, affects the effectiveness of the running game and overall strategy. What was the difference in rushing for 182 against Bama and 152 against SC? Thirty yards change the strategy that much?

He was close on some more big time catches last year. A couple of over throws and a couple he stalled the route on. He'll be a good one this year.
He was just a step short on a play that would've been a huge TD against bama. I think we turned it over that drive, but I may be mismemberin.I’m with you guys on Keyton. I think he is gonna be the Tillman role for us this year. Just reliable hands, always open and when the coverage eventually shifts to account for Squirrel and Thornton running wild I think he will absolutely eat up catches and first downs regularly.

I've heard several say we have the best WR squad in the nation. I've heard we have the best RB room in the SEC and I've heard some similar high praise about the QB room. The more I think about the offense this year, it’s pretty amazing what we have to look forward to. This 4 WR set with Bru and Keyton on the outsides with the others in the slot is so dangerous. Wonder if Bru gets some snaps in the Fant role as well. Just so many options coming for Milton to shred teams!
For me, to answer disappointment/impressed, I think it’s how we arrive at 9, 10, or 10+ wins and whether we are talking bowl game results or not as well. Will you be impressed with a 9-4 record in year 3? What about 10-3?
But we’re only doing that because of reports from around the football program though right? Nobody is doing that just because of the way he looks or what he did or spring game. So it’s based on expectations from those in the program plus what the program has been able to produce with those no one expected anything from. Fun to imagine.Probably not any proclamations(I usually don’t do those)…. I did talk about how dominant Tillman was in practice…. Hyatt was just the obvious choice after Tillman bc his skill set was best to be the leading receiver… I do think Donte will be great… we still overrate the guy with some of the comparisons that I have seen by our fanbase.
I think, just sticking to the regular season for a second, 9-3 is probably the mean this year. 8-4 probably means we lost a toss up or a game we're probably not supposed to. It's definitely not terrible, but would be a little disappointing. Will you be impressed with a 9-4 record in year 3? What about 10-3?
We believe you. No need to share photos to prove it!!!!I am about to go cut the grass again today and @VolsDoc81TX is just reading a posting from the last time I cut the grass. You are the best Doc.
15-0!
Agreed and that’s not really on HIM. In case anyone feels expressing this opinion is slighting Tillman. Young man came back to up his pro stock and his injury may have made that an error. Luckily he was a third rounder so it may have been a wash.I'm not sure about the numbers, but it was easy to see that our offense wasn't running as smoothly when Tillman was in. Not last season. He tried to work him back in but it was not at all the same after the injury. He was definitely the main target in the Pitt game.Tillman was Hooker's security blanket when needing a crucial play during the game. Hyatt was Homerun threat but on 3rd and 6 Hooker looked for Tillman...
Why do you think he starts?I've heard several say we have the best WR squad in the nation. I've heard we have the best RB room in the SEC and I've heard some similar high praise about the QB room.
ifWhen we have a great season, I cant imagine the Hype going into Nico's 1st year as a starter. . . especially if he plays very well this year (I think he eventually starts a couple games, hopefully no more)
