Imagine the Kentucky hype from their fans if they saw what we're seeing from our guys so far,

Everything is relative. They watched Will Levis the last two years. It’s like going from a Pinto to a Camry and feeling like you have a Lamborghini.

I remember the good ole days as a student playing against the BBall players during the off season (both women's team and men's team). I can attest to the fact that Dog Roth had crazy long arms. Took a shot at least 6ft away from him and he blocked it. Believe Dyron Nix was out there as well. Good times.

You wouldn't look at Faulkner and automatically say "there's a D1 football player, no doubt" in fact, most of us didn't believe he played for UT till the guy who taught shop at the Boys Club told us. Then again, a lot of D1 skill players arent physical freaks. . . at least not until you get a closer look at them. Also not 100% sure it was Faulkner. It was a white WR that played a lot for UT in the early 90s and I remember him as Faulkner, but these false memories have me shook, .

I guess, back then (we were between 5-12 years old), we just expected a Tennessee player to be a massive person, ripped up like Arnold. We looked up to UT players like they were super-heroes.

I certainly wouldn't call it hype, but some of us that realized how horrible Guarantano was were hopeful that Chryst might be an upgrade.

Faulkner did a solid job, as I recall. JJ McCleskey, Thomas Woods, and Terrance Cleveland were likewise undersized guys, as is Squirrel today.
