I was reading that South Caorlina whinefest board, and in the midst of that someone wanted Deion to come save them. The answer was "He will go to Florida". I'm not saying that Florida won't change coaches, because I have not been impressed but would a Florida State guy really go to Florida?

I want to give a call out to Rodney Garner. I’m astounded in what he has done in a short time in turning our DL into one of the best units in the country. I’m so glad that we have him back on Rocky Top. With a dominant DL, we’ll never be out of games, and it’ll relieve stress off of an average secondary. It makes our OL better too going against them in practice. I hope we continue to do whatever needs to be done to keep Coach Garner happy.

Agree 1000%. Tough, smart and disciplined. He has to be one of the top DL coaches in the country.

Post game thoughts/nuggs….

Who’s got any? My wife’s niece had her wedding yesterday early evening so we were hosting out of town family all weekend (through today also) so I wasn’t able to soak in the game like I wanted to. It was mostly on as background noise and I could watch it in bits.

How did the OL do overall? Did Ollie get benched for Davis? How was Kueric? Which transfer played the best - because it seemed like Norman Lott was feasting.

How did the secondary do? Etc.

I haven’t been able to read any post game articles or listen to any pods or anything. We’re doing the family thing all day today but I’d love to hear what you all think of yesterdays performance.

The statement that stood out to me..."it'll relieve stress off of an average secondary".

YES!

Our secondary is average! That alone is a huge step forward from last year!

With an average secondary last year...we beat SC and Rattler's Heisman trophy performance. With an average secondary, we MIGHT have beaten Georgia.
