Hearing KISS Alive, period, is a religious experience
Yep. Was pretty much raised on Kiss despite being born in 1996. Uncle showered me in Kiss memorabilia, dad took me to 10 shows over the course of my life. He even tried to take me front row to the farewell tour… mom said no since I was only 4 years old lol

Seen them 10x as well. Both of my sons first concerts were KISS……each when they turned 10

Dokken - Tooth and Nail
Queensrÿche - Operation: Mindcrime (Live Album)
The Cult - Soul Asylum
Iron Maiden - Live After Death
Judas Priest - Live in Japan
Nirvana - Nevermind
Alice In Chains - Dirt

Pretty good collection. I have the original piece of mind on vinyl from maiden. Will be my daughters one day.

Not answering your question, but add these to your list:

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Tyler Childers - Purgatory
Sturgill Simpson - Metamodern Sounds in Country Music
The White Stripes - Elephant
Wu-Tang Clan - Enter the Wu-Tang
Nirvana - Nevermind
Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
Queen - A Night at the Opera
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
The Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
David Bowie - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars
Faith No More - Angel Dust
Stevie would be fantastic.

Do you know if modern guys - like Sturgill or Childers - have recorded in analog?

Only (small) issue with a lot of, not only modern music, but also most represses of older stuff, is they were digitally mastered/remastered.

I do know some modern bands, such as Jack White/White Stripes have done it all in analog for that very reason. But I'd guess that is a rarity nowadays too. Not that it would keep me from getting said album, but it'd be primo if I could find the raw stuff.
