The thing is our WR room is really rewarding the hard working guys whether they came in here as freshmen (Keyton, Tillman, Hyatt) or came in as transfers (Velus, Payton, Bru) the underlining thing has been if you put in the work you get fed.

I think with the size they have you could see more 4 WR looks next season as well.

Thornton looks like he could be special why he wasn't getting more receptions at Oregon is crazy. His per reception averages were 19.4 as a freshman and 21.5 as a sophomore but he never got 20 receptions in a season while there.

Bru, Keyton, Thornton for starters next year? Then obviously Squirrel will play a lot as well. I saw that Thornton can play inside or outside
Definitely think Squirrel will start. He's too electric to keep off the field.

Prediction: 4 receivers with over 600 yards. 1 or 2 over 1,000 (Squirrel + Bru w/ 1K)

Ok getting Thornton is a good thing! So B🍊🍊M!

But I’m also concerned about one of Keyton, Bru or Squirrel not being happy and goes to portal. Then there’s also Nimrod and Webb who’ve also been waiting for a chance..
Bru and Keyton gone after the 2023 season, 24 would look like Squirrel, Donte, Leacock/Webb/Nimrod. I feel like we’re always going to have the best of 4 wide receivers to choose from, iron sharpens iron

I was listening to 104.5 here in Nashville and Blaine Bishop thinks they need to fire Vrabel since he is the one that wants to play to run first, clock management type of football. He made some good points.

Blaine isn’t exactly the smartest individual. He acts surprised and is incorrect on almost everything he says on the radio

I'll be honest, unless something changes with how we're using him OR he just gets more targets I don't think Bru goes over 1k yards. He was 2nd on the team with 52 receptions, but just 12.8 yards per catch. At that production he would have needed 78 catches to hit 1k. We still haven't had a WR hit 70 catches under Heupel.

I think we'll have 4 or 5 WRs with 30+ catches (maybe even as high as 35 catches). I'd say if we're lucky we'll see similar to this season, 5 WRs with 400 or more yards and 30 or more receptions.

The OC and Vrabel both suck. Next............

Before they ran out of good WR/TE and their OL fell apart, I remember the Titans running a good, sometimes potent, offense.

They haven't run on 1st down, and abandoned play action the whole time that Vrabel has been there. In fact, their offense went from bottom half of the league year 1, to top half year 2, to top 3 year 3. Year 4 and year 5 under this crappy OC have undone the progress that they made their first 3 years. J Rob missing on draft picks caught up to the Titans as well.

The blueprint for a successful Titans team with the roster that they had was there.
