I'm just messing with you.

I'm surprised a bit they jumped 'em to 5th. But beating Mississippi State & South Carolina both by 30+ was a pretty big statement.

We'd be ahead of Alabama, but they are one of the few teams that played a better OOC than us. Also they've got 2 wins over (at the time) number 1 teams neither of which was a home game. UNC however has fallen off so less impressive today than when they beat them. They went 3-2 against top 20 teams in their OOC (lost to UConn and Gonzaga both on neutral courts). We went 2-1 against our 3 top 25 OOC opponents and the loss was at Arizona (we got hosed a bit cause of officiating). But we have a bad loss against Colorado 2nd game of the season.
Yeah, Lunardi is holding that Colorado loss against us big time in his brackets, he won't move us off the 2 line. It would be nice to jump them though just because it's Bama. I certainly wasn't expecting to jump into the top 5, epically after they dropped us the week we didn't play.

I mentioned my brother died unexpectedly last month. He leaves behind 3 and 4 year old boys. Few days ago the 3 yo asked my mom, “Grammy, will you take a picture of me to send my Daddy so he can see me in Heaven?” That’s tough to hear.
No words are adequate in a situation like this. My sympathies to you and them.

He hasn't been so far, but he's an extremely intelligent kid and a very good tackler for a CB. Could definitely be a solid CB2.
IMO, there were only a few #1 type guys in the portal. I guess none of them were considered fits.

My goodness man. Reading that was a gut punch. I'm sorry for your loss.

I haven't had any of those specific ones, but did try the Bourbon & Spire awhile back. Wasn't for me, but I'm also not huge on finished bourbons in general. The thing these have going for them is they are MGP (so at the very least the base bourbon should be of a decent quality) and they won't break the bank so to speak at $40-$50 MSRP.
Yeah we have them at 46.99-48.99. Just have wanted to try one but haven’t broken down and bought one yet since we didn’t get sample bottles

Neurontin (gabapentin) was developed to treat ALS. It didn’t work for ALS at all.
During the research it was noted to stop seizures and reduce nerve pain symptoms. It was never intended as a psychiatric medication.
I was at the med school during development and testing of Neurontin (gabapentin). I was part of the ALS clinic. It was awful how nothing has really helped ALS…

All of the meds in this family have a number 1 side effect of sedation or depression of CNS function. If you drive for a living, that’s an unacceptable risk. Lower dosage could help with little to no sedation.
Gabapentin knocks me out like a light...and it screwed up my metabolism big time. I was prescribed it in 2004 and gained 70 pounds in 7-8 months. I quit taking it because of the weight gain, and I've struggled to keep weight off ever since. If I eat carbohydrates..they go right straight to fat where I used to burn them. My Dr told me when I asked him what the hell was going on that he had explained to me when he first put me on it for nerve damage, that slowed metabolism was a side effect in a small percentage of people, and I told him that he had only told me that I could gain a few pounds thanks to fluid retention.

Either way I will never take it again...I went from 200 to 268 and have struggled with my weight ever since.

But it was miraculous how well it worked on the nerve pain..🤷‍♂️

There are plenty of places you can get a laser time. Heck I did it for fun in my 20s at a local training facility and I'm a nobody.

The point wasn't about the availability of laser timing, it was about how hand times are more generous than lasers.

But no one said he ran a 4.27 laser timed 40 and a 4.27 hand timed for a HS player isn't really uncommon at all.

Our Federal Government mandates all the strict rules.
Here in Texas, a significant reduction in opiate prescription use coincided with a significant increase in illegal drug overdose deaths. (Chinese fentanyl leading the charge).
It is overreaching overreacting stupidity...and very cruel on top of that.

People that wanna get high are going to get high.
