The optimist in me hopes that this is a sign that Nico is legit. But I'd imagine that we'll want to take a transfer QB for depth anyway.

Dylan Hopkins? Not an sec-level guy but he’s got FBS experience at a solid program and he’s from the area.

I wouldn't hate that. I'd rather save the scholarship for another need.

I think Gaston could be solid at game management.

I mean of we are down to our third QB at some point our season is probably screwed anyway.

Why? He can compete somewhere else this spring for playing time. If he saw that Nico was far superior to him during bowl practices, then why wait? Some guys want to be part of the team, others want to actually play. 3rd string QBs aren't likely to play much.

Because this is Tennessee, and, I'm a Tennessee fan. I grew up with expectations and got nut kicks, instead.

So, hope for the best plan for the worst.
