Article I saw said he had a clearinghouse issue. He may not be eligible and they may know it.

Ends up being a win-win. They look great. He still can't enroll at UGA.

Why again? Can he help now? Will he play in the future at the position here at UT? I highly doubt it. Then he would have to transfer again.

Walk quickly past the dumpster. Do not look in. Autry made his bed. We have plenty of quality players to train into CBs.

Man, we just have so many freshmen this year who could easily have Cam Sutton/Marquez North-like impacts.

Hurd, Malone, Bates, Kelly, Gaulden, Hendrix, Barnett, Sawyers, Moseley, Wharton, Berry twins, etc.

My bold prediction is that this freshman class is going to overachieve significantly to the point that by the end of the season, the team will effectively be theirs.

Remember that Bama's most talented players in 2008 (the year they won 12 regular season games and returned to national prominence) were freshmen. Obviously Shula had recruited better up to that point than Dooley did for us, but still. Tennessee's 2014 class and Bama's 2008 class are fairly close in overall talent levels, and I think ours will have the impact on the team as theirs did six years ago.

Hold up.. So Leb is against taking Gibson as a qb/wr/athlete but you'd take Autry?! Seriously? Autry couldn't beat out any of the guys we took at corner last cycle at CB or RB. Or slot IMO. Dude got exposed in their national TV game.

Are u serious? I don't have time to read all his crazy posts, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me.. TG is twice the athlete Autry is.

Quit this! I don't want to start having too lofty of expectations for this year. Just get 6 wins and go to a bowl...anything more is gravy.

Yes, I said I would consider it. Obviously at CB you play more kids in any given game. You usually have a lot more DBs on a roster than you do QBs. Would Autry crack the top 5-6 CBs at UT within a year or 2? I have no idea. Would I add another CB to the 2015 class instead of adding a 3rd QB? Of course. With Autry being able to possibly come in and play right away for 2014, it would be something I would look at. With me seeing GT saying he has clearinghouse issues this morning, I'd probably leave it alone.
