edit: I know I didn't mention Scott. I meant nothing by the exclusion. Breathe.

I will be the first to admit when we hired Butch I wasn't sold completely.. I mean after Dooley I (along with thousands of other TN fans) was a bit traumatized and completely stunned at just how far my beloved Vols had fallen. Butch has completely re energized our entire program from top to bottom, this guy really gets it.

We are now being noticed by more and more elite prospects,and our coaching staff is literally working harder than everyone else. I no longer worry when we sign a kid who is a 2 or 3 * prospect because I know that if Butch has offered him than the kid's legit and a TN offer mean's that the other elite schools will be offering next, which generally means a ratings boost as well. We are VERY lucky to have gotten this coaching staff, but after Kiff and dooley I mean we kinda earned it right?? Just think this is all happening and we haven't even begun winning yet, the pieces are in place and I have no doubt that our future is bright and competing for our divison and conference title are not far off. Just imagine what it's going to be like when we start winning I truly believe that Butch is going to win a national championship here at TN and I am so pumped to have a reason to be pumped again!!! GO VOLS!!

Any chance Butch takes a transfer QB next year? I want to believe in Dobbs. I think he has things down mentally and leadership wise. Just needs better mechanics and decision making ability

So am I to understand that in one day of 'meh' passing drills we've gone from crown Justin king to throw all three QBs overboard and play that new guy? That appears to be the case in FF, anyway. :)

If we have to worry about something this early. Let's at least worry about the oline. That's what will make or break the offense. QBs will be ok, imo. The WRs and RBs are talented enough to put points on the board no matter who starts as long as the oline isn't a complete disaster. All depends on that line.

Mike Wegzyn isn't a bad QB. He started at UMASS as a RS Freshman and was pretty productive. Is he our QB savior? Probably not. He has a problem with accuracy on his deep ball and he stares his receivers down like crazy. He also throws extremely good fades and slant routes. It will take a lot to dethrone Worley his senior year, but don't discount Wegzyn in the future.

Oh, and he's already graduated with two years to play.
